We took our Kinfolk to this wonderful family friendly eating establishment for a great lunch, which was lovely and a reasonably priced combo. The Staff are very friendly and hospitable. We would highly recommend this excellent cafe with an adjacent gift shop for browsing. Well worth a visit. Enjoy Cheers John

Worth a trip out here to sample lovely, delicious home cooked and baked goodies. We've been a few time, mostly at the weekend. This visit was a Friday morning, on this occasion things felt a little on the back foot, like they were not really prepared for a full house or maybe not enough staff. Menu is always limited and differs from the weekend ( which isn't big either) but that everything is cooked fresh to order, therefore takes a wee while. Soups are always quirky flavours and very delicious. Then there are the cakes and scones again odd combinations but so good. They also dated well for gluten free.Dog friendly, lovely friend oh staff too.

This recently refurbished cafe is located in the Perthshire village of Alyth and serves freshly made teas, coffees, baking and light meals. On request, we can provide larger meals for pre-arranged groups. We have a full license and offer a range of beers,
A lovely wee cafe with home baking (our scones were straight out of the oven) and fantastic service. The staff were really helpful and genuinely friendly to all customers. We coincided with the sunshine so sat at one of the outside tables. Itâs round the corner from the main village square so not immediately obvious but well worth the two-minute walk.
Modern lovely wee bistro set inside and old church. Great atmosphere and lovely food to suit all tastes. Selection of vegan food available
Excellent soup, and friends loved the Barony club sandwich and the veggie heaven sandwich. Service was really good. This was or first visit since new owners took over and it wonât be or last. Definitely worth a visit with superb selection of food and cakes

Cafe in the Square serves breakfast, lunch and lite bites for both sit in and takeaway. Also the most delicious coffees, teas and hot chocolate as well as cold drinks. A large variety of cakes, traybakes and scones available every day. Buffets and outside
Breakfast was delicious and not at all expensive. Macaroni cheese for lunch gorgeous. We were made very welcome on both of our visits and will definitely eat here again when in the area.

Traditional fresh fish and chips .
Your first impression always counts a lot and on entering the shop the staff look great in blue colourful uniforms. Pleasantly asked for my order and told it would be ready as soon as it is cooked despite a few in the queue. We had Chicken fillets (7),for a change, and with a good amount of chips cost £6. All were very tasty and as just cooked very hot. Shop just off the town square so easy to find.

We had a great venison casserole (with 3 root veg mash) here whilst staying in the area. The meat was so tender and the whole meal was well presented & delicious. We also had a good, reasonably priced takeaway pizza from there another night as they were full in the restaurant. If you saw it when driving past, you might not be tempted to stop but once inside its a friendly, cozy pub with great food.

Open to the public and I have never seen a restaurant in a golf centre as busy as this one. Packed and really good.
It's always a pleasure to eat out at the Strathmore Golf Club Restaurant - they have got it down to a fine tee. Conviviality -great hearty food -marvellous plentiful carvery on a Sunday and to summarise.............although slightly away from the madding crowds, it does seem like the in place to go around here. Book in advance.Jenny -if you are lucky enough to have her serve your table is a sweetheart - she is guaranteed to make you laugh with a witticism or two. Don't pass by it if you are up this neck of the woods (as we are regularly on holiday) We are back up in October and hopefully my husband will do the honours ie drive for as Dean Martin said "âIf you drink, donât drive. Donât even putt.â with gratitude for a darn good watering hole and eating establishment. Louise, John, Kayleigh and Jess

We are located on the B954 approximately 1 mile North of the roundabout on the outskirts of Alyth. We offer a wide variety on our lunch menu - there are always daily specials too. We bake all kinds of cakes and scones and serve them with our homemade jams
We had opportunity recently to visit the restaurant on several occasions. We sampled breakfast...eggs benedict superb!...and lunch...and two evening meals ( Friday and Saturday).....along with occasional coffee breaks. The food was imaginative, well cooked and very good value. Donna and her team couldnât have made us any more welcome. The location of the stunning restaurant is amazing with views over the Glenisla 9 hole golf course. We just loved it here and would HIGHLY recommend it.
