Four of us were dining including one Bulgarian national, so there was no language barrier. We ordered a range, including traditional and new style cuisine.
Veal stew looked like beef.
Mixed salads were not fresh and were very oily.
Breaded Chicken skewers were battered.
Overall the food was very bland and has little to no effort in regards to flavour and quality of was produced.

Also Victoria has restaurant in Sofia, present on TripAdvisor
I dined here with a friend who ate here several times last year and raved about this place. It is nice I enjoyed the spicy shrimps and my Stilton risotto and I would return. But our bill for three with two bottles of wine was equivalent of over £100 . Quite expensive for Bulgaria. To be honest this year I’ve eaten with friends in ‘trendy’ tourist restaurants. To be quite honest the food in the traditional Mehanas is much better and cheaper and next year I’ll be returning to these.

Just got back from the restaurant,
It was excellent! We are staying at a hotel with half board service but got really sick of the food there as they are very limited with vegetarian options. Matsurev Han had many veggie options and they were all superb, fairly priced and with super friendly service. The dishes we ordered range from stewed beets, bean soup, garlic pita, grilled veg, stewed chickpeas, bansko potatoes cooked with garlic and fennel and mixed stir fry thing that had feta cheese in it? We also had pumpkin purée with walnuts and cream for dessert! Best ever veggie meal, I highly recommend!

We wanted to try a different restaurant every night, but this place kept us coming back for 3 nights in a row. Excellent prices, very special and big traditional food. Nice and cozy atmosphere and great waiters, you can clearly see that this is a family restaurant. A hidden gem in Bansko.

We are open 1st December to Mid April & 6th July to 6th September. Le Retro is a small coffee shop and small restaurant/take-away/Bakery outlet where we serve freshly prepared sandwiches and salads which you can eat in or take away, as well as the perfect coffee, delicious croissants and homemade pastries. If you need a packed lunch for your day on the mountain, day trip or your airport transfer home, you can pre-order & have it delivered on your hotel or accommodation. BREAKFAST SERVICE - 8am - 11am everyday , enjoy our French bread, croissants with butter & home made jam or our hot grilled croque monsieur with Nicki's home made creamy béchamel sauce ...... plus freshly pressed orange juice and a choice of coffee & tea.
Came here last Thursday for a light breakfast and a change from the hotel breakfast. We ordered an espresso, a mocha and 2 croissants with jam and butter.
Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken and the coffees never materialised. The lovely girl serving us was super apologetic, as I work in the catering industry, I can absolutely sympathise with the issue, there is nothing you can do when machinery fails at the wrong time.
Now on to the croissants! Delicious! They are served with jam and butter on a wooden slate and also comes with a glass of very tasty, freshly squeezed orange juice which was a nice surprise. It's all really well presented!!
At the end, she offered to knock a bit off the price as she wanted to make up for the missing coffees. She really needn't have as we were more than happy with what she was able to serve us!

The Irish Harp Bar and Restaurant are proud to only serve County Kildare beef imported fresh from Ireland.
We visited The Irish harp on St Patrick's night, and although slightly disappointed that there was no live entertainment like last year, probably down to 'live' rugby on the Television, the food was as tasty as ever.
I enjoyed the home-made burger with chips while my three companions opted for the equally delicious steak and Guinness pie with mash.
Once again, owner Brian arranged for us to be ferried back to our hotel at no cost to ourselves, many thanks for that!

Penguins has an ok atmosphere, it’s prices are raised and it’s pretty obvious that it’s aimed at tourists! Food looks amazing but the meat (beef) tastes frozen and tough!
(Stick to chicken and pork)
You can expect to pay around 10lv for a cocktail and just round the corner is Morris bar which offers 2 for 1 cocktails at 9.50lv. Don’t come here to drink unless you have a wide budget! Food is okay but we’ve been to better places this holiday!

I can honestly say I’ve never had such a delicious fillet steak in any restaurant in all the world and especially for the price of £15!!! The strawberry cheesecake was yummy too! Lovely surroundings and great service.
