Il Lago Italian Restaurant is located in Norwest Business Park, Baulkham Hills. The restaurant offers the most spectacular dining views in the area. Looking out onto a lake, you can enjoy an unforgettable dining experience. We cater for small parties or any size function, whether it be a business lunch, birthday party, Christening or Wedding, Il Lago Italian Restaurant is sure to please. We have indoor Seating with lakeside views or outdoor alfresco dining. Our menu offers an array of authentic Italian specialties. Our brilliant culinary team meticulously prepares all our menu items using only finest ingredients and freshest products available.
The antipasto platter had a good selection of meats but not sure about the deep fried flat bread. It went down hill after that. Service was poor, slow with forgotten orders and dishes coming 10 mins apart. The place was hardly half full! Mains were mediocre at best. The traditional white pizza of potato and sausage was very disappointing. Cubes of potatoes rather than thin slices, no Italian sausage, no rosemary and then tomatoes. The risotto was swimming in butter and cheese fat, decorated with a gross tasting balsamic plus dill. Since when is dill classico? The veal ravioli was also drowned in butter more beef than veal which has a delicate taste. Deserts were average deep fried apple ravioli. The setting of a man made lake in the centre of a business park is far from the idea of the Italian lakes.

We go here for a pre-theatre meal when we go to STC plays. ALways nice. Can be very busy. Menu is good. Fish and Beef are both excellent. Service is always friendly but busy! Food comes out pretty quickly and is very well prepared. Deserts are very nice as well. A 2 course meal including a glass of wine can be about $50pp or up to $60pp depending on what you have. There are cheaper options on the menu. Overall a nice location and only 5 minutes walk to the wharf theatre or the packer theatre.

Great venue, right next to hoyts! This is the best place to go for date night with plenty of booths and the service is good. Love the chicken and the towers! Just writing this is making my mouth water.

Great venue with elegant and romantic ambience, especially at night. Quite spacious Seating area indoor and outdoor (overlooking the lake). I came for dinner and dishes I’ve tried: grain fed Oakey beef eye fillet, twice cooked duck breast and chocolate walnut brownie for dessert. Service was pretty quick even though it was a busy night. All dishes were delicious, rather beautiful and portions were quite large (especially the duck).
The beef eye fillet was perfectly cooked, the portobello mushroom was tender and flavoursome. And the beef jus was spot on.
The duck breast was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious but the Dutch carrot that came with it was still crunchy. I was expecting it to be quite soft. The caramelised eschallots were so good on the other hand.
The dessert: good brownie but not amazing, the popcorn is a bit chewy. Love the peanut butter gelato (strong peanut butter flavour). Definitely the best element of the dish.
When paying for the bill I gave them my Amex card. A bit disappointed that they didn’t mention about the extra charge if using Amex. They just processed it without asking if I have another card (which I do and paying cash is also ok for me).

This Pub is of historical importance to Prospect and surrounding area. Just off the M4 and Great Western Highway. Not a very big venue. The outside is very rustic.
Parking is at a premium. We had sandwiches for the wake which were very nice and hot chips. There was a little bit of a wait for drinks at the bar.
All in all it was a good send off for the loved one.

Very popular shop and partly I believe because it's most likely open on public holidays.
Not only burgers but chicken and seafood here
Tried the fish burger,it's nothing much
The southern fried chicken burger though is nice. Partly because it's fried and partly because they add a little villi sauce
Both are substantial despite the way it looks and at $6.50 each it's a lot cheaper than other places

Today we took staff from our small business in Blacktown to this venue for a quick Melbourne Cup lunch. We've been a few times before and found the venue itself is very smart in décor and not as noisy as a lot of other places nearby. We even managed to find the specials lunches which are very competitively priced compared to the local club offerings. The bar and wait staff were trying to please us and succeeded well, with an assortment of breads to start (highly recommended), followed by our individual meals we were finished just in time to view the large screen TV's in the cocktail bar after our meals and cheered our horses home!
Yes, this was a winner for us.... having read other reviews of this establishment we collectively felt the food is of a very good standard, perhaps not to the same standard as it might be if we'd ordered from the full menu but for the price this really hits the mark with variety, tasty & fresh and lunch portions are a good size.
We will continue to support this venue for larger groups of staff and individual meals with family and business partners. P.S. the service has never been a problem for us the staff try to assist wherever they can, sometimes it gets very busy and you may not receive the attention you feel you deserve...happens everywhere - that's life.

We stopped by @ Nadia's cafe last weekend for breakfast. Though it is located middle of the shopping centre but it is quite nice atmosphere, friendly staffs & good food & a bit pricey food too.

It was a tough week searching for decent fare. On my last night I tried the hotel restaurant hotel. I was seriously surprised at how good it was. The baby octopus and calamari wasn’t something I expected on the menu and it really was fab. The fish Curry was excellent and something I’ll definitely have again. Tried a couple of the wines by the glass and both were strong. Next time I’m here I’ll be back.

I've never had burmese food and wasn't really sure what to expect. I have to admit that it didn't smell great on arrival and there was no way I was going anywhere near cat fish or any of their seafood options.
We ordered a mixed entree, preserved tea leaf salad, garlic chicken noodles and dry curry noodles.
Entree was generous and came with 2 or more each of vege spring rolls, potato samosa, bean patties and fried gourd. My favourite was definitely the samosa. I really enjoyed the preserved tea leaf salad, I'd say this would be a must try if you come. A great balance of textures and flavours, with crunchy fried beans and soft tomato, garlic and chilli with tea leaf. The curry noodles were the better of the 2 noodle dishes with tender chicken and yummy sauce with a fried egg on top. Wasn't crazy over the garlic noodles, perhaps a bit uninspiring/needed some vegies as it was just chicken and noodle and sauce.
I hope to go back some time and will try the kulfi for dessert.
