Set in a picturesque bay in the village of Birzebbugia, on the site of a battery built by a Knight of St. John, Ferretti Restaurant boasts the perfect surroundings for a memorable dining experience.A good location is just a part of our story, however. We believe in building a long-lasting relationship with our guests, and once you have settled down and taken in the relaxing and unique ambiance of the restaurant, I will take you through an exciting range of Mediterranean dishes, which are the mainstay of our rich menu.Having made your choice, all that remains for you to do is sit back and enjoy the food that our chef will prepare using the finest and freshest ingredients, accompanied by a bottle of fine wine brought to you from the ancient vaults of this historic building. The battery which hosts the restaurant was built by the Knight Francesco Maria Ferretti in around 1715.
This place is just awesome, once you enter the establishment the atmosphere is buzzing with people but still calm and relaxing. The service was amazing from all the staff members but especially from Yan our main server who made sure to keep the "service with a smile" thing going, from Rita the Manager who also did her best to keep things running smoothly with us and with all the other tables and last but certainly not the least from the Talented Head Chef who even had time to get out of the kitchen and greet us and to check if everything was going fine, which it was because the food was excellent a big well done goes to who did the homemade dessert because they were a perfect ending for a great meal especially the Carrot Cake.
Big Well Done.

In operation for more than 25 years. Specialises in fish dishes using freshly caught Mediterranean fish. Situated opposite the old National Swimming Pool in Marsascala, Malta.
Three of us visited Zonqor Point Restaurant for lunch today. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and greeting and shown to our table. The order for drinks and the menu were brought very quickly while we deliberated over a wide choice of menu, catering for all tastes and diets. We ordered the three fresh fish special of the day and we were not disappointed. It came with roasted vegetables, chips and fresh salad and was delicious. This was fine dining served with care and we will be returning when we next visit Malta. The best meal to date and very reasonably priced. Thank you.

This is a small restaurant where the owner cooks your meal from scratch. He uses only the finest Black Aberdeen Angus meat for his steaks. He also uses fresh locally caught fish. We have eaten there several times and it is always excellent. Also we have recommended it to family and friends and they haven't been disappointed.
If you like 'ping' food then fine...we had just an awful meal. Spaghetti overload with frozen mussel meat and crab stick instead of calamari; frozen wings and ribs...the wine was really good and the prices Ok, but we left most and were so disappointed given the reviews.

We are situated in a prime location overlooking the picturesque bay of Saint Georges bay within Birzebbugia. We have large open air terraces with a lower Terrace at street level (pedestrian zone) and a higher Terrace above street level. We are approx 5 mins walk away from the following places of interest : Ghar Dalam , Borg In Nadur temple, Borg in Nadur bronze age village and the religious visitation site . We are served by more than 4 route buses . Please check out our new webcam on either the following pages skylinewebcams or on windfinder We also enjoy the fact our clients can bring their dogs with them - just as long as they are quiet and behave themselves.
The food was served quite quickly considering the number of patrons. What I liked most was the personal help of the employees. They make you feel special.

Steaks, Burgers, British dishes, Fish, curries,
On our recent stay in Malta, my wife and I visited Qajjenza bar countless times. The bar is situated on the waterfront in Birzebbuga. It is really pleasant to sit on the outside Terrace area on a warm evening and enjoy a meal here. The Cod and Chips served with Mushy Peas really is delicious as is the Whole Tail Scampi and Chips. The food is very reasonably priced as are the drinks. The meals are always consistently good. The owner, Jess, is a very friendly Englishman with a wonderfully dry typical English sense of humour. If you have a craving for some good quality English style pub food, I highly recommend the Qajjenza Bar. A large portion meal for two with drinks costs a total of about 25 Euro. We often dine there with a group of friends and the general consensus is that the Cod and Chips are better than one gets in the UK a lot of the time. We never tried it, but our friends tell us that the Cod Mornay is also excellent.

A simple friendly restaurant opposite the waterfront at Birzebbuga. We have dined here twice & each time with a number of people.
Menu offers a great variety of food including pizzas, ribs, salads, chicken, fish & chips.... to name some of the tried, tested & enjoyed.
Most of the tables are outside the restaurant & the atmosphere very pleasant. All at the table on both occasions loved the food & friendly family owned restaurant service.
