Reviews on Seafood food in Bintan Island, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province. A popular destination for golfers looking for better rates and more accessible courses, Bintan is also a nice way to escape the bustle of Singapore. A ferry ride takes between one and two hours, depending on where you’re headed. From there you can relax on one of the beaches or head inland for hiking and ATV rides or take a ride at the elephant park. There are a couple of towns on Bintan, but the island’s natural beauty is what draws visitors.
Things to do in Bintan Island
We had steamed flower crabs & local sea shells (gong gong), deep fried calamari, vegetables and they were simply delicious! And so cheap! The staff were great --- attentive and friendly. An open air restaurant perched above the sea -- slightly warm & humid but fantastic sea view and fun ambience. Would definitely come again to try their chilli crabs, lobsters and other delicacies!

One of the best things about Bintan Lagoon Resort is Nelayan, their dining resto beside the beach. They serve great food, with warm service and romantic ambience for an unforgettable dinner. I recommend ikan bakar, a meal of red snapper fillet, marinated in various spices, pan-seared and served with tomato sauce, bok choy veggies and a slice of lime. A cup of rice is served on the side. This dish is somewhat spicy, but truly tasty. You may want to get a good choice of refreshing drink to control the spicy flavor. I enjoyed this meal with a glass of cold Schweppes ginger ale. Nelayan offered very good service. Despite being with a large group, food was served almost at the same time, with some slight delays on the kebab.Don't forget this place when you are in Bintan Lagoon Resort. Guaranteed to level up your vacation experience.

We come here for a wedding of a friend. He did told us that this place is very popular with the wedding dinner. We have buffet and the food there is very nice. Even the selection of the vegetarian buffet look not so nice but taste great. I enjoy the wedding feast very much.
We went on a Tuesday night so it wasnât busy. The food was divine! Our favorites were the Black Grouper (steamed with Red Chili) and the Mantis Shrimp (with Ginger) - first time having Mantis Shrimp and just loved it!We spent just over $100 AUD and felt that, compared to Australian prices, we got a delightful meal at a great price. We also liked that we could choose our fish for the meal

This Chinese seafood restaurant is located along the main stretch of road where lots of food outlets are located. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Great variety of food options such as crabs, lobsters, prawns, shell fish and more. Quality of food is good but a little pricey compared to other seafood restaurants.

Built on stilts just above the sea, a unique blend of Chinese and Indonesian culinary style. The only place to go in Bintan which has the richest and freshest seafood while offering panoramic view of South China Sea. Open daily for lunch and dinner from 1
Last visit to this restaurant was buzzing with lots of customers..few years ago. But recently only few tables were occupied. well i guess it is because of the high prices. food tastes is alright and service was good. Ordered 4 gin tonics, steamed prawn, mee goreng, fried vegetable, steamed scallops, fried chicken and 3 rice costing S$200 plus a fruit platter..singapore price tag.
