Good little local restaurant offering mainly pizzas and steaks. Pizzas, especially the specials and the bolognaise were excellent. Good atmosphere with plenty of locals in the restaurant and coming in for takeaways, all run by one guy who has it all under control. And he is open when others are shut off season. Good value too with excellent house wine.

I came with my family. The restaurant is located in a calm street in a fresh corner The restaurant is equipped with baby chair. The pizzas are generous and service is friendly. Overall, above the level of a tourist restaurant. Good value for money.

A hidden gem. Reviews on TripAdvisor made us have a meal here at the establishment. The reviews didnât fail us. Meal was wonderful the staff were welcoming and friendly. Best brush up on your French/Italian or have google translate at the ready. The waitress didnât know any English ( I think she was the owner, by the sounds of other reviews) but we got by with hand suggestions/movements. Had the best arancini outside of Sicily.

Not only would we have never found this little gem without TripAdvisor, standing outside we might have entered without reading the reviews. Sat out the back in the sun with a beer and pizza - perfect! And even better, the food was generous and excellent too. Friendly staff as well.

I went to try out Gusto as I live nearby and it is good to have a restaurant open 7/7. The initial reaction was that it looked clean and busy, usually a good sign. The starters looked OK on the menu but we decided to go straight for the main course and ordered the most expensive thing on the menu, risotto with gambas and scallops at â¬19.80 each and a bottle of Bardolino rosé. The wine arrived a few moments before the food and we were given no opportunity to taste it before she disappeared. It was not cold enough. We should have realised that the food is not freshly cooked when the risotto appeared in less than ten minutes. There were two gambas, partially peeled, one with the head removed and sticking out of the risotto like stargazy pie. They both still had the black alimentary canal in them, not pleasant. They were also very overdone and dry. My scallops were underdone and cold. The risotto itself, which was advertised as being cooked in the jus of seafood was a huge portion of pink stodge with the legs of prawns scattered liberally among the very heavy grains of rice. There was also clearly a lot of Parmesan in the risotto making it even heavier. The waitress did not come back to us to ask if all was ok, so about half an hour later we tried to explain why we had not eaten the majority of the food. She asked the same question that we did not understand a few times, then gave up and gathered up the plates. She appeared with dessert menus and as we were still hungry we had desserts. They were plonked unceremoniously in front of us, mine being passed in front of the person beside me, despite there being plenty of room to get around the table.Normally in France the waiting staff take pride in what they do and this was clearly not the case. There could be any number of reasons for this. We ordered in French and having lived here for many years we understand the customs and niceties. The service here was prompt but unprofessional.I was very disappointed all round and will not be returning. If they can't get the most expensive dish right then what hope is there for a cheaper option. I understand it is a chain. Enough said!

Lovely pizzas on a perfect stoneground base - Delicious. Friendly staff. Not expensive, typical pizza restaurant prices 9-13 euros.Would certainly recommend. Not a lot of space or tables so may be best to book ahead.Always pretty full.Just opposite the train station.

Read the /A reviews and had some reservations, but we've been here several times now and it's always been good. Apart from the regular menu there are formulas. There's the wood fired pizza which is excellent. Service is charming and polite. The wine list limited but has some great things to choose from. We'd return here anytime and in fact we will !!

La Cremade overlooks the Canal du Midi and offers a wide range of food. We ate tapas and magret de canard - all nicely cooked and presented. Huge servings yet reasonably priced. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether a wonderful last night of our holiday.

Amazingly we have had our house in the next village to Cerys for 15 years and this is the first year we actually found this restaurant. It had been recommended to us a number of times but when we drove through the village to look for it a no entry sign diverted us away from it. This time we decided to park up and go on foot and we are so glad we did. The pizzas are fantastic with lots of choice for toppings. There are also a good selection of salads, pasta and meats to chose from. The star of the show however has to be the cafe gourmand. 5 individual delightful little desserts served with coffee. Absolutely to die for. Staff are lovely, friendly and attentive. The prices are excellent. We have been 4 times so far and look forward to returning many times in the future.
