I went with family for a birthday celebration dinner. They'd told me how long the wait usually is, but thankfully a thunderstorm kept people away. We waited about 15 minutes. The mac and cheese was my absolute favorite. If you have great macaroni and cheese, I'm sold. The fried chicken was a little too soft for my liking, but it was still good. I prefer crispy fried chicken. The other sides, biscuits, and desserts were excellent. This is a great place, good price for family style, and excellent service. The staff will bring whatever you want more of, no questions asked.

I was very disappointed with the price and the food. Maybe this was an off day. But this is not my first review. Before we talk about the food, there were no paper towels in men's room, air conditioner by my table smelled bad because of the filter has NEVER being changed. The salad was good but small, the soup was also good but very small, the rice also small, the chicken tasted bland, and the price was way to high for such a run down restaurant. I wish I could write a better review but I must be honest. The place needs a lot of work for being there 2 years.

Restaurant starts serving at 9:30 AM and is open only on Saturdays and the food is served only until lunch or until sold out, sometimes it sells out around lunch. The fresh charcoal cooked, chopped BBQ Pork is always delicious, some of the best that we have ever eaten. If you want a really great treat, get here early enough and you might be lucky enough to get a side of delicious ribs before they sell out.

My first and only visit to Duff's was a treat. They have a feature plate each day, and I was lucky enough to be there on Wednesday when the feature is chicken and pastry. Notice, I said pastry, not dumplings, because that is what it is called in Duplin County, NC. The pastry is cut in strips out of a flat sheet. Needless to say, I enjoyed it immensely! Duff's serves up local style food and I plan to return on my next trip to Beulaville.

My wife, kids and I stopped here on our way from Raleigh to Atlantic Beach on the recommendation of friends of our's who always stops on their way down and I can't say we are disappointed. They had a lunch buffet that offered different types of pizzas and crust but we aren't really buffet fans in general so we ordered from the menu. Their crust is really different and good and the sauce was delicious. My son got a burger and it was big, cooked well and was tasty. The atmosphere is nothing fancy, basically your general small town restaurant, but it was clean and the waitress was exceptionally nice. We will definitely make this a recurrent stop when we travel to the beach from now on.

We were hungry and on the road...came across this little gem in the rough cruising through the small town of Beulaville. Wow...could not have been a better lunch experience. First of all, the local folks were kind and warm. Then came the server, she brought us a pitcher of tea and cups with crushed ice. Then came the BBQ plates...food was delicious....If only they used real metal forks and knives verses plastic and at least paper plates verses Styrofoam....that was my only real complaint. I hate eating any food with plastic utensils on petroleum-based plates :( Anyway, after the main course they give you a thin slice of dessert of your choice...could not believe how good and moist the pineapple cake was....nothing short of heavenly!!!! Anyway, if you are hungry, and passing through Beulaville, skip the fast food and stop here at Country Smokehouse!

This was my one attempt to eat at a local joint on my recent trip with my son. The place looks run down from the outside, but that is typical of these meat and 3 type places. Actually, its a meat and 2 with beverage. They had dessert written on the menu board, but we were told later that this was left from Sunday dinner and no one erased it. We visited for lunch on a Tuesday. The vegetables were all canned or frozen and re-heated. The fried okra actually melted the styrofoam plates. Soft drinks come from cans, and the tea tasted like instant. The meats may have been prepared on site, but they were nothing to write home about. Canned gravy. The rolls were dinner rolls from a bag, not even frozen and cooked Parker rolls. It was $6.50 for lunch, no children's menu or discount for children. The service was marginal, with one visit to refill tea. We visited late, about 2 PM, and they were trying to get cleaned up. You could tell that they payed less attention to us because we were not regulars. This is definitely not a good example of a country diner. You would be just as well to get fast food when in Beaulaville and save some money too. Very disappointed.

Restaurant is newly opened and it is really clean and nice inside with several TVs, The staff was courteousness and the food came quick. The pizza was really good, exactly like I remember how great pizza is supposed to taste. My new choice for great pizza in Beulaville.

This was the first time I had eaten at this Bojangles. I got the mandarin orange salad with grilled chicken. It was on sale for some reason & came with a drink which was great! It doesn't say you can get the grilled chicken on it, but they said they could do it! The first time I had tried this. The price was $5.35. The restaurant was clean and the clerks welcoming.

The food is very authentic. They make the best gorditas I've ever had. Everything is made fresh, so be patient. Not a lot of English spoken here, but they are so friendly!
