Bryn Llewelyn is a friendly and comfortable Guest House in the centre of the village of Betws y Coed. The B and B has its own private car parking and free WiFi. Bryn Llewelyn provides excellent base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and North Wales. We have been accredited 3 stars by Visit Wales (2017)
I had a return visit to this b&b and can confirm nothing has changed …. It’s still a smashing place to stay in the village of betws-y-coed. Ben and Sarah are great hosts and will do anything to make your stay a good one. The breakfast is from 8-9am which allows for a sleep in for me anyway. The cooked English breakfast is really nice using fresh local ingredients, but if you want cereal, yoghurt, toast and fruit that is on offer too ! The b&b is well appointed and I thought it represented outstanding value, again I really enjoyed my stay.

A magnificent former coaching inn, set on the historic A5 route from Holyhead to London, Royal Oak Hotel is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Snowdonia National Park. With free parking for all residents, offering traditional rooms or contemporary Stables Lodge rooms, there is something for everyone. The individual hotel rooms boast luxury modern bathrooms with free toiletries, some rooms have ornate four-poster or sleigh beds. The Lodge rooms offer modern, clean décor with simpler facilities with the option to add breakfast to your stay and single use plastic free toiletries for the more ethical Snowdonia explorer. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access and TVs with over 50 Freeview channels.
The lunch we enjoyed at the Royal Oak was one of the highlights (foodwise) of our trip. Good food, excellent service, knowledgeable staff, nice setting and plenty of shelter - outside - from the rain. Superb

Family run three-star hotel, restaurant, bar and bunkhouse in central Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia. Selected dog-friendly rooms available. All rooms en-suite (except Bunkhouse) with tea and coffee making facilities. Food served seven days a week. Drying room and mountain bike/kayak secure storage available. Walkers, bikers, kayakers, climbers welcome, suitable for activity holidays. Children and Dog friendly. Welsh speaking staff. Beer garden. Sauna & Jacuzzi.
Location excellent. My room was very small (especially the bathroom) but it was lovely and clean and had everything I could want. Bar was great. Dining less so. I had ordered a meal one night when the chef came into the bar and announced to everyone that he was not going to cook any more. Taking him at his word I left and ate in another hotel. However after I had left, a meal turned up and had to be paid for. Apart from that meals were fine.

The WATERLOO HOTEL and STATIONS leisure complex is the ideal base for discovering the endless array of what beautiful North Wales and its coast has to offer..... mountain biking on the famous Marin trail, summiting the heights of mount Snowdon, sitting still and taking in the breath-taking scenery, adventure days caving or cannyoning, building sandcastles on one of the many golden beaches or leisurely strolls around lakes and woodland....there is something for everyone... and at the WATERLOO HOTEL our aim is to help you bring your holiday to life..............
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were not disappointed. It is conveniently situated, the facilities and food is great but most of all, the staff are friendly and helpful and go above and beyond. We shall definitely be visiting again. Thank you for everything you did for us.

The Gwydyr Hotel is a Family, Pet Friendly Hotel which offers home-made, hearty, wholesome lunches and dinners using local Welsh Produce. All dietary needs catered for. Come and sit by the cosy log fires and read the weekend papers, or why not enjoy the sunshine, sit outside with a local Ale, watch the world go by and soak up the outstanding scenery in the centre of Betws y Coed. Free Parking Available at the rear of the hotel.
The staff are wonderful. I made the biggest mistake on the busiest weekend of the year. I accidentally booked a single room for 1 person and a dog, when I thought I had booked a double for 2 people and a dog. The lady on reception could not have done more too accommodate us. They rearranged the room to put another bed in for us and it all worked out perfectly. We had a wonderful stay and felt incredibly welcome, our dog got a sausage at breakfast each morning and slept through the night. Think she liked the cosy room. Thank you ?

Seventeenth-century coaching inn in the heart of Snowdonia. Award-winning restaurant, full of charm and character, beamed ceilings and open fires.
Lovely old Inn within walking distance of Betws-y-coed, HOWEVER: * Limited off street parking (almost all cars parked on side of busy road) * Only one cell phone bar if you’re lucky * Best case, you’ll get one WiFi Bar in any area of property, to include Bar/Dining Room, and even then it’s very intermittent * All tables are reserved for dining (e.g. nowhere to just have an evening drink). * In my case, I was asked to leave a table as it was ‘booked’, and instead recommended I take my drink to the ‘Resident’s Lounge’, where it turned out Staff were having there dinner on their laps (felt very strange to me) * I do not recommend room #12 as there’s literally a dinning table outside your door. I laid in bed listening clearly to a couple’s entire dining conversation.

Staying at The Courthouse with my girlfriend for my 30th birthday was one of the best weekends of my life. Situated in Snowdonia with breath taking views, The Courthouse achieves a perfect balance of maintaining the historic themes of the building, whilst offering modern day technology amenities (Smart TV, touch screen lamps and even a touch screen mirror!) that will leave any visitor feeling comfort to the highest degree. Pair this with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, you'll find yourself looking forward to returning after a long trek to the summit of Snowdon. Perhaps the location and building itself would earn a 5* rating, however the true charm and what makes The Courthouse so memorable, was the first class service provided by Richard and Tanya. You may, as I have in the past, experienced staying in a B&B where the host can be somewhat intrusive in trying to make you feel comfortable, or opposingly totally negligent to the point where you feel unwelcomed. Richard really sets the standard for how to host a B&B and has mastered this to a fine art; friendly, polite, attentive, considerate and a genuine desire to make your stay one that you will remember for years... but let's not give him all the credit, are we forgetting the superwoman behind the scenes here? Upon arrival, Tanya had dressed our room in Happy Birthday banners with a bottle of prosecco on the side. I'm not one for big celebrations, but I must admit... I LOVED IT! Not only that, the following morning we came down to breakfast in the shared lounge to find further celebration banners for my birthday (see picture) and finally upon returning after climbing Snowdon, there was even a birthday card left for me from Richard and Tanya. The thoughtfulness and extra mile both Richard and Tanya go to is exactly why I wouldn't bother even considering anywhere else within the area, you simply won't find hosts who care to this degree. Finally... the breakfast was incredible! Thank you so much Richard and Tanya, that weekend will stay with me for years.

The hotel is set in a much admired and envied position down a long private driveway on the banks of the River Conwy at the edge of Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia. We have 16 acres of our own beautiful gardens and we are surrounded by uninterrupted and breathtaking views of the Conwy Valley with its wooded slopes forming the perfect atmosphere in which to relax in peaceful tranquillity. Privately owned, the traditional values of hospitality hold strong with the emphasis on courtesy and service.
If you are looking for amazing views, wonderful staff, outstanding food, great location and relaxation then you have got the right place. I 100% can not find fault in anything at this hotel. All the staff were lovely and really made our stay unique. A special thank you to Michelle who really is an inspiration to the hospitality industry and one in a million, also to Mark whose breakfast were amazing-not to mention the carrots at the evening meal, Thank you to Star for being so attentive to our needs at breakfast and of course India for making us laugh so much. We stayed in room number 10 which is the Superior double with hot tub, the room was lovely with the biggest bed I've ever seen. The hot tub was so private and a delight any time of the day. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We did a helicopter flight as they take off from the gardens a few times a year. We had a special evening meal which was absolutely faultless and utterly amazing. Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh when ordered so always hot and very tasty using locally sourced food. The village is only a 7 minute walk with many lovely local shops and walks to do. We loved our stay so much and hope to return one day.

This unique bunkhouse is extremely well equipped, sleeping a total of 36 in spacious comfortable rooms of 4, 6, and 8, all with clean fresh linen, duvets and personal reading lamps. Self catering facilities with complimentary tea and coffee in a large well equiped kitchen. Seriously hot showers, freshly cooked food for individuals or groups who do not wish to prepare their own and a great bar for entertainment.
Stayed here with a group of 16. Staff were very welcoming, rooms were spotless, beds comfy. The pizza was amazing and very good value, as was the breakfast - perfect fuel for mountain climbing. The hostel also has a bar that serves a good selection of beers staff were very accomodating with opening the bar when we wanted. Only a short walk into town with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. 20 minute drive to Pen y Pass to trek up snowdon. Thanks Neil and the team
