Reviews on Wine Bar food in Verona, Province of Verona, Italy. So splendid was medieval Verona that its reputation alone inspired Shakespeare to set two plays here (Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona). Though its connection to the actual Capulets is tenuous at best, the so-called Juliet's House draws half a million tourists per year, many of them keen on reenacting the balcony scene. Don't miss the Roman amphitheater and the Palazzo Barberi.

A new and unique venue of its kind in Verona and the Veneto region,Il Banco is a Restaurant which offers typical and original dishes based on the premium and reknown products of the prized Leoncini brand, which specializes in the finest of pork products
We found this place by accident. The place looks nice, italian, with professional staff (even though their english was not so good) and tasty food. My wife's dish, I am not sure with exact name - bicolor Gnocchi with speck on a Parmigiano Fondue - was the best gnocchi she ever tasted :) Also the wine card has good range of different wine kinds. I can recommned this place.

Very beautiful, typical and cozy place ! Great ambiance and very well attended !Great variety of small dishes, munches, tapas with which you can compose a great original apero ! Excellent choice of beverage. Just one minor point, it is always overcrowded and very difficult to get a seat over apero time..... Enjoy !

Nice location in the centre that offers typical food and biological cold cuts like Parma ham and great cheeses...there's also a big choice of tapas and some nice hot dishes for lunch. Shabby and cosy ambience for people who want to spend some nice time in
Visited after reading numerous reviews. Medium platter of meats and cheese was perfect for two.... Although a bit more cheese maybe and more types? â .Opted for dark beers which were delicious. Very chilled atmosphere. Great surroundings. Only four stars as service could have been a bit more 'on the ball'. Our food was sitting waiting to be bought to us for a while by which time the bread was drying out. We should have complained but were starving so we scoffed it! The pickled veg served with the platter was lovely. We'll definitely come back on another visit to Verona.

Ristorante in centro storico, ampia scelta di vini e ottime proposte di piatti della cucina mediterranea e locale.
The food was below average, this should not be so high on the list of good restaurants in Verona. Itâs cheap thatâs about it. If this was voted 1000 then it would make sense. If people are rating a restaurant please say I loved it because itâs cheap. In my opinion this is not worth the effort to find it.

Make a point of hunting out this beautiful restaurant. We loved everything about it. Quite a quirky menu cooked to perfection - unless you have any of the meat and cheese platters to share as a starter, where cooking doesnât come into it, but brilliant pairings of chutneys, jams and vegetables do - and the service is wonderful, friendly and informative to go with the super ambience of the restaurant itself.....just go

Wherever else you eat in Verona, it will be a serious omission if you do not try Cafe Carducci. A small family run restaurant, the very friendly owners Stefano and Benadetta, along with the other chef, create masterpieces from their small kitchen. The wine list is extensive, especially with Amarones. Our group tried two during one of our meals there and agreed that the first bottle, reasonably priced as these things go, was the best Amarone we have ever tasted. Whatever else you order, if you do not have at least one plate of gnocchi with black truffles, you will forever regret it. Ethereal, light as clouds, I have eaten it twice and plan on having some again when my wife and I return in a few days for our 30th anniversary meal. One last suggestion-whatever else you have for dessert (and donât even think about passing on it), try the pastry that Benedetta bakes that tastes like a crisp crumbly coffee cake. Yummy. Go there soon. Enjoy. You will not be disappointed.
