Reviews on Wine Bar food in Siena, Province of Siena, Italy. This Tuscan hill town will transport you back to the Middle Ages. Siena's grand cathedral, built in the 1200s, has treasured artworks and marvelous marble floors. The Piazza del Campo, the main town square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also home to the Palio, perhaps the most infamous horserace in the world. No goofy hats and mint juleps here—this is a medieval tradition involving bareback riders racing on cobblestones (so as you might imagine, it's quite dangerous). Siena is an easy daytrip by train from Florence, just 43 miles away.

We are a small family-owned osteria and winery. We are convinced that drinking wine makes the world a better place. Visit us and give a helping hand to the world! ;-)
Doesn't look much from the street. Went in as all other places were full at the time. Very nice and polite staff - owners. Pleasantly surprised that patrons were Italian and not tourists. Relatively short menu but everything was homemade. Definitely recommended.

Traditional "tuscany-old style" wine-restaurant.
We had a great dinner here and highly recommend. Good house wine - no need to buy a bottle of something else. Started with typical bruscetta with new olive oil + bruscetta of chinta pork.. Walnut ravioli was fantastic and pistachio filled small ravioli filled with pork argue was good. Main was wild boar stew and warm think sliced pork. Wild bar stew was great, the pork was okay but not very big portions. Rich though. Owner/server/chef was very friendly and helped us order. For two, 84euros. Not cheap....but a good experience.

Only some small distractions serving at the table but the waiters but quite honest to acknowledge and readily apologizing. Non-flavourishable my spaghetti with seafood hence not worth for its price (22â¬). The Chef (a foreigner) is not good enough for pasta seafood. Excellent the wine!! The service at the table was really nice by the two girls.

We were looking for an authentic place for paninis and wine and Gino Cacino did not disappoint. We were there the day before Palio but the wait wasn't long at all. The menu had tons of choices and the wine list was extensive. The best meat and cheese I had the entire time I was in Italy! Extremely authentic place, with very little english spoken, but does not take away from the experience at all, and instead, enhances it.

A beautiful dinner spent in this place between wine and food. You can express your preferences about the kind of cheese and ham you would like to have or you can leave this decision to the innkeeper (which we preferred). Everything was great! The food, the wine, the location and the guy who served us. I truly recommend this place

Ristorante enoteca nel centro di Siena
The restaurant offers a relatively classic food base with a twist on a few dishes. The result is mostly convincing. The pasta especially are excellent. Main dishes are good as well, though could use a little bit more complexity.Price is low given the quality of the food. Great wines with generous pour.

We had lunch here - it was recommended by our B&B host and is just off the main street. Surprisingly good range of foods from panini, salads, pasta, bruschetta to various specials. The bruschetta was good as was a salad. Coffees excellent as well the biscuits. Good service and lovely jazz music.thank youSee you soonPrèttoProsciutteria e Convivio

Winebar in the centre of Siena with a large choice of natural, organic and biodynamic wine. Tuscan cold cuts, rawmilk cheeses, soups, craft beers, more that 20 differenti crostoni (sort of traditional toasted slices of bread with delicious toppings) and s
This is the best wine bar in all of Siena, I have visited this place many times during my stay in the city. They have all natural wines and amazing knowledge of them that they are willing to share. Francesca and Davide that owns the place are amazing people that always make you feel welcome. Besides the good wine they also serve great cheese, meat and crostone - all from artisan producers. Well worth a visit for the wine lover!Thank you, Tina!It was a big pleasure for us to know you and Vincent and we are glad that you like our place and offer. We wish to see you again next year and, maybe, share another incredible evening, relaxing, talking and... drinking toghether, as the one "after closure": probably the best of the year! We popped in for a quick snack without having done our research - and it was as good as previous reviews. Excellent panini made to order, nice vernaccia and very friendly service - very good value near San Domenico.
