Ronda’s most striking feature is the Puente Nuevo, which spans a gorge over 300 feet deep. Can you guess when the "new bridge" was built? 1793. That should give visitors an idea of how unchanged Ronda has been over the years. It’s also known as the birthplace of modern bullfighting. The town’s bullfighting ring is only used once a year, at the Feria Goyesca, but it’s also a museum where you can learn about the history of this traditional (yet controversial) sport.

Went here today for lunch, great value tapas and very delicious. The service was excellent, my husband had the iberico ham and said it was the best he has had in Andalusia.

Two brothers and sister run this small and cosy "tapas" Bar/restaurant that transports you into the spanish 60's~70's. Extense local Ronda area wines and a selection of very well presented dishes. 1st and 2nd prize of Ronda Tapas in 2012
This is a sweet little bar in a more residential area and the food was mind blowing fabulous we ate dressed tomatoes salad and mixed Iberian meats it was heaven. Wonderful staff the lady was very attentive. Don't miss a opportunity to experience this little marvel.

Was lucky as visited when really helpful English guy was working. Tasted all the tapas I could imagine, drank 1 manzanilla sherry and 2 glasses of the most excellent Ronda red.Great and friendly service too.All for 18 euros.

Wait staff were friendly enough, the Rosado from Ronda was fine, Sangria not so good. Best Tapas we tried were the Iberian Mini Hamburger for 3,50,- and the smoked Sardine on puffed pastry. The more expensive dishes(sauted mushrooms and prawns for 9,50,- or "Flamenquines" for 8,50,-) were nothing special and too dear. The reviews are overall a bit too glowing.

Tapas and wines
It's not really in the touristic heart of Ronda and that's not a disadvantage. Just a short walk to this pleasant place.Good tapas and excellent local wines that will be difficult to find outside this region. We both speak good Spanish and at the bar we had a long conversation with a local lawyer/winemaker.

We didn't read any reviews beforehand about this place, but there was something it when you passed...Maybe not in the most quiet street of Ronda,it's right after the bridge before you walk into the old town, but the service was so friendly and efficientâ Very tasty tapas and very reasonable prices. Altogether,a great stop after you enjoyed the spectacular view from the bridge!
