A joy to forge past the art centre and, via further perspectives of the stunning architecture, access the 'floating' restaurant with its cool interior and external decks above the shimmering water all round. And *not* be disappointed by what's on the plate. Far from it. If I were the owner and put all this together I would have paired this building with this style of service and cuisine and been very proud. No doubt he is - justifiably. Money well spent, moment of satisfaction and happiness assured.

We stopped in Lauris on our way to Lourmarin. We loved the village and had coffee at Bistrot Jeannette. While there we reviewed the luncheon menu and were so impressed we almost called the restaurant in Lourmarin to cancel our reservation. But, we did not. We will return to Bistrot Jeannette on our next trip!
