Garufa's is beautiful, immaculately clean, and the staff is extremely attentive. It also has a great selection of award winning red wines to go with your steak. I don't eat red meat though so had a grilled provolone cheese dish with tomatoes and red bell peppers. Unfortunately the cheese was over cooked, and in fact, mostly burned. My lunch partner had a half salad and lentil soup, which she said was very good. This is a relatively new establishment so I won't be harsh in my review. I'll try the place again in another month or so and maybe come back to change my review. Try it, tell them what needs improving, and let's see what happens. By the way, it's right across the street from Banditos and next to Changos in Sandy Beach.

Known as a wine bar, and it is, with wines from the Baja and great tapas style menu, this is enough reason to try ElTapeo. But, if you are wearing thin on Mexican beers and are looking for craft beer, this is the place! Serious selection of craft beer from a brewery in Tecate (no, not that one) the Baja Sur, and Tijuana. Pale Ales, IPA's, porters, stouts and wits. Big TV behind the bar always playing you tube videos of music. Just ask and they will call up any artist you can think of. We were jamming out to ACDC the other night and the waiters actually knew who they were. Kind of an interesting experience.

Puerto Penasco Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Puerto Penasco
We dined here with another couple, and we will definitely go back again. Our waiter, Israel, was great about choosing a wine for us based on our expressed preference. We chose three tapas, and they give you hearty bread with garlic butter. It was too hot to sit outside, so we opted for one of the high wooden tables. The atmosphere is very nice with interesting things on the wall to read. Sconces made of wine bottles. A great addition to Rocky Point.
