All served on attractive black platters. 6 cicchetti for 10 euros.A nice quiet atmosphere if you need to sit down, relax, and escape the crowds near the Rialto.

Footsore after the Doges Palace, I had wandered along to Arsenale and ended up on the diagonal Via Garibaldi around lunchtime. As I was by myself, I felt bad about taking up a table for two but the waiter couldn't have been more charming about it. It was great to people-watch and I ended up chatting with a lovely Canadian family. They had a little 3 year old who offered some crisps to the waiter who responded with "No thanks, I've already eaten!"The food was absolutely delicious and it was great to be away from the crowds. It arrived pretty swiftly too. A tour guide that evening recommended Via Garibaldi as a great spot to experience a genuine Venetian neighbourhood and I couldn't agree more. Thanks for being so welcoming.

Counter service only though there are a few tables/chairs. Most people eat at the counter. Small bites of yummy food. the person behind the counter was very quick and extremely efficicient. We had a Crostini, Polpette and the Zucchini flower- all very yummy. Perfect snack for 11am - We were done in 15 mins and back on the road

Heard music wafting through the alleyways of Venice and following our ears, we stumbled across this great little bar with an amazing live cover band playing an inspired, eclectic song list. Add to it, the bartender made one of the best old fashioneds I've ever tasted. I'll for sure be telling friends about this place for years to come.

All'Arco is a convivial little place serving delicious, punchy cicchetti. It's a popular place so be prepared to eat standing up - but it's worth it for the impressive range of fresh and flavourful cicchetti. Perfect for lunch on the go!

Al Squero is the only Osteria in Venice exactly in front of the Ancient Squero of San Trovaso. There is no other place where appreciating from its window the construction or restoration of original Venetian gondolas. It is a cozy and comfortable place whe
All the positive Reviews of the Osteria Al Squero are true! Located alongside a small canal behind the Accademia; situated opposite an interesting Gondola building/repair yard and serving some of the tastiest Cicchetti in Venice. The staff are competent, friendly and patient with their constant stream of multilingual clients and they take time to explain what is on show in the glass cabinets. It can get very busy but if all the seats inside are taken, it is as pleasant to partake of the refreshments outside. We ALWAYS make our way to Al Squero for at least one lunch when we are in Venice. It is reasonably priced with interesting snacks and tasty house wines - though there's a wider selection for customers with a more refined palate.

As per usual we searched on TripAdvisor and found this restaurant near our hotel and what a fantastic choice it was. The food is truly amazing along with excellent service but the best thing about was the atmosphere which was superb, they manage to combine great service whilst ensuring you feel part of the crowd. Completely full on a Wednesday night in November should tell you how popular this place is with tourists and locals alike. No hesitation at all recommending in fact I would say it's a must visit if in venice
