We read good reviews but b'c of the name, etc we expected it would be a loud bar scene and not a very relaxing dinner. When we drove past, it was just a liquor store. Inside, we found a loud small restaurant at the back of the store, bad lighting and really loud neighboring tables. But wow did the food make up for it! We only shared two snacky things, fried artichoke hearts and the mac and cheese, but both were superb. The waitress was wonderful, offering less spicy dipping sauces for our 'chokes. And our cocktails were top shelf delicious. Give it a try if you aren't in need of quiet ambiance.

Who knew The Vine would have some of the best pizza in town? Tasty and light, their wonderful eats are perfect to accompany drinks - we shared three different kinds of pizza at our table of friends and they were all delicious. Very cozy, friendly venue in the middle of Ojai's Arcade...we celebrated a friend's birthday there in the early afternoon and it was a delight. I can imagine it gets even more fun around happy hour and beyond! Flights available for wine tasting / nice selection. Excellent service.
Tipple & Ramble opened in Ojai in spring 2014 as a hybrid space that combines wine, food, design and entertaining. We have a weekend wine and beer patio that serves small plates, cheese, and charcuterie boards and a retail shop that specializes in indoor/
We had a delightful lunch out on the patio with appetizers and wine. Everything was beautifully presented and fully enjoyed on the back patio which has quirky and comfy seating areas for groups of all sizes. The ladies working there were friendly and attentive. The little shop inside has some great finds.

I happened upon this small gathering place because the world series was the TV. I entered and within seconds I was treated like a regular. Meaning David the bartender was great with selecting a wine, and those also seated @ the bar were welcoming. I found this site friendly, affordable with the best local regulars that I left wanting to return.
