It comprises the urban districts of Ningbo proper, three satellite cities, and a number of rural counties including islands in Hangzhou Bay and the East China Sea. Its port, spread across several locations, is among the busiest in the world and the municipality possesses a separate state-planning status. As of the 2010 census, the entire administrated area had a population of 7.6 million, with 3.5 million in the six urban districts of Ningbo proper. To the north, Hangzhou Bay separates Ningbo from Shanghai; to the east lies Zhoushan in the East China Sea; on the west and south, Ningbo borders Shaoxing and Taizhou respectively.

I have been here for about 3 weeks and was missing home cooking, Barolo was the place for me to go. I took out a small group of 9 from the local office and we all had a great meal with excellent service. This was the best Indian food ever! Really liked the decor and friendly service. It is like feeling being in India with all the wonderful smells and taste.They invited me to their Diwali Celebration with special buffet. Will come for sure!Not easy to find authentic Indian cuisine outside India, but this place had fabulous food! I am lucky to find KBF! Thank you! As a frequent traveller to Ningbo, it is always great to find a new Western style restaurant to enjoy. After seeing the reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to try Bar Di Vino. It is worth the visit.It is located across from the Sheraton Hotel. The owner, Ellen is a friendly host who goes out of her way to greet and welcome her diners. The wait staff speak English. The decor and appearance of the restaurant is clean and modern.The wine choice is terrific, and the food is reasonable in price and good good in quality. I am sure this restaurant will do well in the coming years. It offers a nice addition to the few restaurants in the area.I am not sure why the reviewer from Ohio was so negative, as this was not our experience at all. We will certainly eat here again on our return visits to Ningbo.Ellen- well done. Keep up the good food and restaurant standard.
