Full service restaurant specializing in share dinners & tapas, original liqueurs & cocktails and premium BC wines; with a cozy interior and gorgeous patio views.
my goodness do restaurants actually think that customers liketo pay for high end food but get lower end meals the food was very unappetizing and left it in plate service less that adequite but left a tip anyways Hello Carot.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It seems you have terrible luck with restaurants as every experience you have documented has earned only one star. Our kitchen team is always working hard to create tasty food, so if you have any particular food critiques that would help to improve what we serve, please let me know. Better luck with dining in the future. Sincerely, Adam

Nelson's gastropub pours BC Craft beer, BC wine & amazing house cocktails. Try tasty bites from Chef Jamie Hertz. Now open 4pm - late Tuesday to Sunday.
Stopped in Nelson on our way to explore the Canadian Rockies a bit. Heard that this restaurant would provide good vegan options and we were NOT disappointed. The lettuce wrap appetizer (with tofu) was superb. My husband had the Pho - loved every sip of it - and i had a Poke Bowl - not on the menu that night, but our charming waitress was very familiar with plant-based diet and asked the chef who happily recreated the dish for me - an amazing blend of wonderful flavors. Loved this place!!

I have been here 3 times. 1. Noodles were overcooked and made the entire bowl taste like overcooked ramen. Even with a plethora of delicious ingredients on top all I could taste was the starchy ramen. Im guessing they are partially cooking the ramen, and then hoping for the rest to cook when in the soup. This is a terrible idea as all that raw noodle flavour contaminated all the other goodies.2. I ordered the cabbage noodles, no ramen. This bowl was delicious, flavorful and every ingredient from the duck egg to the mushrooms gave a wonderful flavor to the dish. 3. Ordered the ramen noodles again. Same as the first experience, overcooked and bad tasting.I like what they are trying to do here, the ambiance is nice, love music is nice, fire, etc. But if you cant nail the Ramen, then question the whole "Ramen noodle" house. If I go back I will never order the noodles again. Kinda sad for a noodle place.Hi Jenny, we are sorry you have had a inconsistent experience on your end. Feel free to contact me personally at [email protected] if you would like a refund.
