Our specialty is steak! We buy only corn fed, Nebraska raised beef. The finest beef available anywhere. We then either dry or wet age our beef, depending on the cut, for a minimum of 28 days to ensure that famous flavor and tenderness found only at JaK's.
Very busy place on a Monday night!! Our service and food was good. Nice evening with friends. Had a pepper steak... yum. Great green beans too.

Friends took us to their favorite hideaway and introduced us to Lexie, who obviously has a great passion for wine (and the knowledge to back it up). She offered us a few samples, made some great recommendations and took care of us all night. We intended to "graze" and ended up ordering half of the menu, including a salami & cheese plate, spaghetti & meatball, halibut, and tortellini alla panne. Raves all around. The live music was a bonus. Wish we lived in Issaquah so we could hang out here more often.

First the good: Some of the best hamburger sliders around. Made with the Hawaiian sweet roll buns and a great sauce! The Ahi Poki is very good too, fresh with lots of avocado underneath. However, when we entered the restaurant, we initially sat at a side table in the bar and no one came to wait on us. The restaurant wasn't busy (on a week night) so we moved to the bar itself and finally were noticed. We were there to enjoy Happy Hour because they have many choices for HH wines, but the first one we chose, they were out of. We had come in at least 25 minutes before HH was over and ordered food well before the 6pm HH close. However, when the check came, our HH appetizers were listed at full price. When we brought this to the bartenders attention we were given a lame excuse that the HH prices don't show up until we pay, but then the bartender quickly reran the check and gave it to us with the correct HH prices. We really like the ambiance and sleek style of Sip. However, it seems every time we dine or go to HH the service is not up to par. So, although the food is very good the inconsistent service results in an overall average rating.
