Things to do in Ioannina
Right in the center of the city, The Butler is definitely a good choice for anyone who wants to have some good coffee or enjoy a beer. There's nothing too special about it, but it doesn't pretend to be something more, it's just a normal coffee place. The prices are reasonable, the staff is always friendly and motivated, the range of beer is okay, the coffee is good and the interior is nice and pleasing to the eye.

This is a really tiny coffee/bar in winter with a fire place. In the summer you can sit outdoors on the main square which is right on the lake! It serves a variety of unusual coffees as well as wine and drinks which come with a small cheese and salami platter. There are also pizzas, burgers, and club sandwiches which you can order. It's both nice for a small group of friends.

We spent new year's eve here as a family - they offered a dinner buffet with a decent variety of interesting flavors, including desserts later on. They also have a permanent selection of good wines. The atmosphere was quite nice and they were welcoming, often asking how we are doing and if we needed anything more. The chef was present as well, answering questions about the food. They offered everyone free sparkling wine right after midnight!Midway through dinner, the group of guests right next to us started smoking. I politely mentioned to the staff that smoking ruins our dinner experience, and that it seemed unacceptable to me that they had put together this effort and had a chef select and prepare the food, only to let a few selfish customers ruin it for everyone else by smoking at will. The staff's response essentially was: "We don't know what to say, people smoke", which sounded to me as: "We don't care enough, deal with it". I think that was very disrespectful towards us, and also disrespectful towards themselves after all their effort to prepare the food and atmosphere. They could have asked their smoking customers (minority) to smoke outside or at the very least wait until dinner was over.If I don't mind people smoking while eating and drinking I can go to any other place in the city that doesn't care about providing a good service to its customers. I had just hoped this place was different.

A 360 view bar restaurant in the roof of an old Fortress.Cocktail bar with great music and a resto with good kitchen. Down stairs an atmosphere boutique hotel. Around the Castle a big beautiful park in the centle of Ioannina city!
Location is awesome, restaurant is well managed and has very good service. You may try more âgourmetâ style of dishes with local ingredients. Result is very good. However more practice and improvements to the more elaborated dishes are still needed

Just arrived in town and needed a break from Greek restaurants. Solely based on TA recommendations we decided to take a late lunch at No Ties.Service from Amelia was both friendly and efficient, and truly added to the overall dining experience at this restaurant. We were ravenous and possibly ordered too much, but all the courses were just tooo good and we left nothing left.Rounded off with their homemade Tiramisu, which was just a pleasure to eat, this restaurant is really a fabulous place to eat and good value for money.I think that anyone looking for good authentic Italian food will not be disappointed here.Thank you Amelia !Thank you so much for your comment! Hope to see you soon! Kind regards
