Il Grappolo was created to promote and enhance the wines of Colli di Parma accompanying them to cured meats and cheeses of the territory .
Tutto veramente ottimo.

Had a mixed meat platter and cheese with a bottle of Sicilian white wine. What an awesome experience sitting on the patio, cool and pleasant. Great meal lovely service. Well with the visit.

I have been here on several occasions for Sunday lunch and each time I have left with a smile on my face. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere relaxed (with plenty of outdoor space for children to run about), and Tommaso and his staff are always kind. Highly recommend for a true Italian weekend lunch (or dinner) experience.

My wife and I dined at the Casale del Groppone vineyard cafe on a Saturday afternoon in mid-September. We were served three courses (a plate of ham (proiscutto, culatello, salami, and pancetta), ricotta-spinach tortelli (like ravioli), and dessert (blackberry tart and a chocolate tart). Wines from the vineyard were paired with each course, grappa was served with dessert as well. We finished everything off with some espresso. The food was good, and the wines helped us learn about the wine characteristics of the region. We were unaware that so much of the wine production here is focused on sparkling wines (all 3 of our lunch pairings were sparkling). Having said that, there wasn't any real tour of the winemaker's vineyards or facilities, and the only explanation we received regarding the wines was the server's information about the name of the wine and the particular variety of grape.Overall, this was an OK lunch, but not a great wine tour. If you're interested in a quick stop for lunch, this is a reasonable option. If, however, you're wanting to learn about local wines and see some production facilities, choose another vineyard.
