Visiting the casino for a show. Got there early and thought we'd have a cocktail at Ruthie's. Hostess asked if we had a reservation and, no we didn't. We had already eaten at an amazing restaurant elsewhere! The bartender overhears our conversation and says over the wall 'reservations only'. Way to go Ruthie's'... because your reviews don't already stink!!! Glad we ate elsewhere! BTW, one star only because zero wasn't an available option.

This place looks so elegant that I was afraid to go in there with my beer drinking hubby. But they had wine AND beer! There were only a few other people in there when we went but the "waiter" was beyond awesome! He was watchful over everyone who was in there to make sure their glasses were never empty. And very nice! He offered us a cheese tray but we weren't hungry so I'm not sure how the food was.

Stopped in for a drink with my girlfriend. We both thought the decor was interesting in keeping with the older building but a few updates. She did mention the seating was a bit uncomfortable.Staff was helpful and friendly. Service was prompt. We stopped in around 8pm and as others have noted, it was a bit noisy making for a challenge to converse. Seating was a bit limited at tables due to the number of folks in Cru. We were able to sit at the bar without issue.As the evening progressed, the clientele transitioned from say mid-30s to mid 40s to 20somethings. Also, the noise level rose. A real sound system instead of a tiny bluetooth speaker would be better along with some sort of noise mitigation. These are my big issues with Cru.Prices were reasonable for the QC area.
