CASTEL RINGBERG The estate tavern with the panoramic view from its large terrace is worth a trip. Enjoy the wide range of Elena Walch wines while gazing at the scenic view of Lake Caldaro. The wines can be accompanied by cold regional delicacies - chosen

A so special place for taste and celebrate! A youthful kitchen with love and passion for the products of the region. The grill wood's and the exceptional quality meat are one of our specialties. The menu of the week is dedicated to the seasons and what th
We had a great Sunday lunch here. The restaurant is in a vaulted dining room, which helps to create a lovely atmosphere. The service was friendly and relaxed, but attentive. The food was very good, we had really good antipasti and the grilled meats were excellent. Recommended.

In a dramatically refurbished stone winery/barn, this owner-operated restaurant has it all for food, comfort, and hospitality. With a superb wine list offering the best of the region, and food that is locally sourced, fresh, and inventive, this restaurant is sophisticated without being fussy. Incredibly romantic, wonderfully welcoming, it was by far my favorite dining experience in Alto Adige.

This was the most memorable meal and most enjoyable evening I had in a week in SudtiroI/Alto Adige.I walked past this small restaurant/enoteca while strolling around town, then went for an apertivo glass of wine. After looking at the menu, I decided to go back for dinner and booked a table for later. Another bonus point was the number of different wines available by the glass.I had the scallops in a raspberry/pimiento gazpacho. I must admit I chose it as it sounded different and unusual. It was also delicious, as were the venison, and a plate of local cheeses. There were several other dishes I'd have been just as happy to try.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The local wines which were recommended were excellent and matched the food very well. If you enjoy wine, do talk to the staff as they will also take your preferences into account. Having discussed the types of wine I like/don't like, I ended up drinking a wine (Lagrein - my new favourite red wine) with the venison course that I didn't even know what it was until I was told afterwards. For me, this added to the experience. It is relatively expensive, so I'd recommend it more as a treat than a casual evening out. I fully intend on going back when I am next in the area.

The kitchen of our certified BIO restaurant Paradeis will tempt you with dishes prepared using biological, regional, and seasonal ingredients. We focus on our cooperation with farmers employing biological methods. Especially during the warm months of the
Lageder wines are outstanding but I was quite disappointed with Paradeis, his Restaurant. The gorgeous little courtyard invites to dine with a backdrop of lemon trees in huge pots and a stunning farmhouse cobbled courtyard. The service is pure perfectionâ¦.but then came the food! What a disappointment. We were told that the chef hasnât been there long (all the more reason to impress) and that he was still finding his way in the kitchen. Understandable, if one ordered a complicated Cordon Bleu dinner, but for simple fresh asparagus and saladâ¦.no! Surely nobody can go wrong with that? It was also not a case of loads of people arriving at the same time, the restaurant was almost empty and that should give him sufficient time to prepare a simple meal to perfection as the price suggests. My advice is, get a chef to match your wines.

We came here as we wanted to try the wines produced by Elena Walch. This a very modern bistro, where they serve wines together with cheese and cold cuts. You can enjoy and taste the wines produced by Elena Walca, while enjoying the relaxing ambient. The server was very nice too, as she introduced different wine to us and let us try them, before we decide on which bottle of wine to go for.

Beautiful grounds! Walk around and admire the unique decor. Enjoy lovely outside seating to eat and drink. Small exquisite cafe menu for wine pairing. Tasting very low/reasonable price. Great Pinot Noirs for aging and drinking straight away. Save room for a few bottles from this place! Very generous hours of operation!
