Only seating available was outdoors and charged without being told was 4 euros pp, beers horribly expensive. Would NOT recommend. 2 local beers and 1 wine cost us 42 euros. Initially they trod to charge 71 euros

If you are passionate about the green gold, EVOO or a novice who wants to learn more about it, EVO (short for Extra Vergine OleOteca) is the place for you. Everyone is familiar with wine/food pairing but the same holds true with olive oil and food. Here at EVO, you'll have an unique experience to taste various high quality oils produced in Italy and other countries, learning the differences, the food pairing or simply enjoying a delicious meal or appetizers in a beautiful ancient sala (there is Roman ruin underneath). Our lunch started with a selections of the olives, not the typical run of the mill varietis, followed by various appetizers, from bruschette with different olive paste toppings, to vegetables dressed with different oils; concluding with a pasta dish and a dessert. The food was light and creative to compliment the exquisite olive oils. If you don't feel like a meal, they also offer the option of appetizer/oil tasting but you'll still walk away with new knowledge and appreciation of the green gold.Thank's, you will always welcome in our shop :-)

We liked the owner and stopped there having glasses of wines a few times. He was very knowledgeable about wine and generous with wine serving. We decided to eat there one night. I enjoyed my pasta dish with truffle very much but not the second course which was pigeon dish. Its presentation was rather odd with half size of pigeon and a hand full of lettuce "salad". No source and dressing very dry. I would recommend having wine and maybe lunch there but not a proper dinner.

Restaurant, shop and art gallery. Traditional Umbrian cuisine with organic products, km0 / 100 solutions with gluten free, lactose free and vegetarian. BIOTIPICA shop with sale and tasting of the products on the menu to buy right away or to be received at
We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere â truly a spot enjoyed by locals. But the food was even better than the ambiance. Very regional Umbrian menu with choices to suit most people ( my wife does not eat cingale). We had antipasti, bean soup, pasta with boar, pasta with local chickpeas, porchetta and the mixed dessert tray. All were great â the porchetta with onions was incredible.

I have never visited such an amazing little cafe/restaurant. Inside is full of books, objects, pictures and wine, all packed into a small characterful place in a marvellous village in Umbria. The pasta served to our party of 10 was wonderful. The menu is small but if you're in the area, check it out!Be amazed!

Nâ Anticchia in our dialect means âa little bit of somethingâ, and it is exactly that âlittleâ which permeates this locationâs spirit. Nâanticchia is a tiny place where traditional flavours, sounds and emotions echo through the eyes of those who want to l
You may expect to find a number of drinks and a good collection of wine at this little place but they also serve very good, freshly prepared small dishes of different kinds. If you just want a drink and maybe something light to eat to that, this is the place. The service is friendly and helpful.

The owner welcomed us with a lame "joke" ("we like people of your country because you've got a lot of money"), then wanted to serve us a wine of his choice without asking us, what we wanted, so we declined (be aware that a lot of the wines on the list are very pricey). The legume soup didn't taste like much either (nothing to do with an umbrian lentil soup).

Enoteca Properzio 2 is set in a very specific context, specifically in a place dating in 1550, part of the famous palazzo dei Canonici , next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. Legend says that here Pinturicchio lived and worked in this e
The food is good in this place. The refreshing terrace is fine to rest. The owner however likes touching the women entering the shop. Not appropriate !

We have eaten at this recently opened Osteria/ enotecca for supper, lunch and occasional breakfast eight times in March and April. One evening meal was very good indeed as were two breakfasts. The coffee is good, but cappuccinos were not. But three other evening meals were very disappointing. Dry main courses and warmed up pasta, i.e. not freshly cooked were the main problems. The service was variable, sometimes ok, sometimes indifferent and even disdainful. Cappuccinos at most recent breakfast were served with longlife milk and stale cornetti. A great shame because when it is good it is very good. We will not go back until we hear they have got their act together.NeedDear Highbury19,thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad that you have come to our osteria 8 times.. the problem is that we do not remember You! Are You sure you have reviewed the right place? We have this strong doubt also because your statements are not correct: we never serve warmed pasta and our cornetti with homemade jam are always fresh as well as the milk. We are very sorry because maybe you have confused our osteria with some other place, However, we invite you to come and visit us as soon as possible. Our best regards.
