We went to this bar 'cause a friend told me a lot of good things. The place is beautiful and have a clean decoration. We ordered a "Bolinho de Beringela" (eggplant roll)... Not good and the cheese inside was cold... but we also ordered one sandwich with roasted beef and cheese, that was very good!

As you walk in to Olivetto you cannot help it notice all the wine. Wine bottles galore! So if you are a wine aficionado that should be enough reason to come to this very nice classy place. It is sort of Italian but the menu has more to chose from. My osso bucco was missing the bone. But it was really delicious. The pasta was not al dente but not too soft either. Of course we shared a bottle of red wine. Perfect place to bring that special someone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Romanos in Campinas. The wine and service were excellent, the antipasto superb, and the verde bolognese lasagna was extraordinarily delicious..

Formerly a single wine store, Cave Pavesi reivented itself and joined talented chef Andre Bearzotti to assemble on of the charmiest french like bistro in Campinas. Upon arriving, you will find a valet service for, believe it or not, very reasonable price. To reach the restaurant you will walk through Leo's Pavesi wine store with an outstanding selection of wines from around the world. The small restaurant is nice and very well decorated with pieces of beautiful wine boxes. The daily menu (on weekdays) offers, every day, five or six degustation options that includes pasta, risottos, special rices (I love their rough rice, arroz bruto in portuguese), beef, pork, fish, vegetables and etc. Its the fanciest all you can eat I know of. You will notice a basque and french touch mixed with the use of very typical brazilian ingredients. You may also order a lá carte durinho lunch and the wines are always at store prices. For dinner, it just a lovely place to go.

Pobre Juan restaurants are found in many Brazilian towns, serving Argentinian food. From the Pobre Juans I tried, this restaurant had by far the best meat. The menu offers a reasonable choice, and the side dishes (which you need to order separately) are quite good. Located outside a shopping mall, the restaurant has an independent access and is quite spacious. Attentive service adds to the good experience. Not everything is perfect: the ambient music, mostly modern instrumental Argentinian-themed compositions, was loud and made it difficult to communicate accross the table. The price is something you need to take into consideration: the food is great but the high price tag moves value down. Of course good food comes at a higher price, but there seems to be some room for optimizing.Hello,Thank you for your evaluation! We are very glad to hear your comments and hope to see you soon again with us!
