Things to do in Bruttig-Fankel

If you want German food that is filling and tasty this is the place. The service was good and the prices were fair. I enjoyed my Saurbraten thoroughly. Guten appetite.

Definitely worth a visit! Beautiful traditional interior. Friendly staff and great wines produced on site. Didnt eat here so can not comment on the food.

Best place to try award winning wines in 2 ounce portions. The staff, including the well trained school girls all speak excellent English. The food is very light and designed to complement the wines.

We fancied a change and joined the barbecue at Springiersbacher Hof. Not quite sure of how it would work (and not having the German linguistic skills to work it out) but our friendly hosts explained you selected your salads then the meat chosen was taken to the barbeque and cooked for you. The marinated meat was delicious and not burnt to a crisp as can so often happen with barbecued food. There was plenty of variety with the salads and it was okay to return to the salad bar as often as you wanted. Lovely atmosphere, great wine list from their own winery. It was not expensive and we weren't rushed away after our meal, we were told that the table was ours for the evening. Finished off with a local gin made on the premises, excellent evening with very friendly staff who made us feel really welcome.

This is the classiest bar on the Mosel waterfront without exception.Indoor seating, and covered outdoor seating with Mosel views.Apart form during the Weinfeste, Domus Vini doesn't sell hot food. It generally sells a typical huntsman menu, such as a hams, salami, cheeses, eggs and bread (with mustard from an authentic Senfmuhle). The host hunts his own wild boar in the hills of the Mosel, and I can verify that the resultant salami is rather wonderful. The host also sells his own wine produce. Simply marvellous. I cannot think of a better way of spending a summer evening other than sitting on this terrace, eating a wonderful mean, and having a few glasses of Domus Vini wine.

Perfect place to spend the evening! Winery offers wine carousel to taste different wines, excellent cheeses and moreover reasonable price! You are sitting in a very quiet atmosphere arranged in a stylish art. Pleasant service, much more private and personal compared to Cochem. Definitely better choice!

Real old structure and a cave-like ambiance. The wine taste very nice. Only came in for a drink before we went off to our hotel. We like the place very much and wine ....nice.They were friendly and very welcoming. I like it.

It's a lovely place with a great view. However I found it over priced. We ordered a cheese plate and while the presentation was very pretty it was short on substance. We had three pieces of store bought brown sandwich bread with four slices of packaged cheese and a little flavored cream cheese. Visually pleasing bit disappointing overall. The wine was good but it's hard to have bad wine in the Mosel Valley!
