So it was more like really really good but pre-prepared dishes,Surprised when we visited it was predominantly tourists inside as it is not In an overly touristy area. But it sure is on TripAdviserAnd the owner and chef are doing very good business. We were there on a Sunday night, when fewer Parisian restaurants Are open. So likely that was a factor.Hello and thank for you review. Nothing itâs pre-prepared, « La Min » because itâs make at minute ^^. Sunday itâs one of the best day, a lot of people in a small place. (Tourist or french) and We try to make the the best for all people!Sincerely Mr Haddad Nathan

Went to the Boui Boui on Tripadvisors recommendation...Soup was watery and over -powering red pepper....Foie Gras was very good but the toasts were cold.!!!!Everything had been kept in the fridge...Pasta was good but not great.Meat was ok.There are better choices in Montorgueil.

We stopped here, based upon the reviews, for a light lunch. We were greeted by friendly owners and a lovely atmosphere.Having had a glass of wine each and some charcuterie and cheese for lunch, together with some wine to take away, we had a great time.Well worth the visit!

I have selected over 100 different wines from all the French wine-producing regions that you can taste by the glass - either in the bar area or in the cosier upstairs room. But wine is even better when you have it with my selection of cold meats form Bode
Came here based on reviews and online ratings with the sole intention of enjoying some nice French wines. We were sat at the bar with a bartender (presumably the owner) who initially was very friendly. He explained the procedure of giving us a taste of 3 different wines and adjusting his suggestions according to our tastes. Sounds wonderful! But thatâs not what happens :(We were given our first taste, we offered feedback and the bar tender than starts to criticize us. We explain what we donât like about the wine and he proceeds to pour us another taste of another wine. This time the comments have shifted to âItâs not your night for wineâ. We each have different tastes for wine which we expressed but it was clear the bartender wasnât actually paying attention. By the third round it was clear he wasnât actually listening to any of the feedback we were giving. âAll of my wines are greatâ was his saying - what he meant was âAll of the wines I offer you are cheapâ They have a selection of bottles they offer by the glass and because we didnât like any of his âcheapâ open bottles he became bitter and grumpy. We prefer not to encourage such poor behaviour and told the bartender we would be leaving. At which point he suddenly demands a previously undisclosed charge of 5â¬.The 5⬠we spent at Wine Therapy was a small price to pay if we can help others recover a night that would have otherwise been ruined by a poor decision to go to Wine Therapy. We left and ended up having a lovely evening with amazing wines please see my other review for details! To those who are curious about this "unusual" review, I will try and give a little bit of background information. This couple visited Wine Therapy on August 24th. They published their first "horrible" review right after their visit - to which I took the time to reply.TripAdvisor recently decided to remove it as it was not respecting their policy. Today, this customer has published a new amended version.Anyway, my original reply remains the same."It's always interesting to see how the perception of the same experience can be different when are you on the other side of the counter. Please be sure I always have a friendly attitude when customers come to my place to taste French wines, especially when they come as far away as from Canada. However, I can get very "grumpy" when these customers make faces as soon as they start tasting the wine samples I serve. When the only feedback I get from these inconsiderate customers is "this smells bad", "it's not good", "it's too acidic"... I have to admit I feel confused. After having sampled 4 or 5 different red wines with you and received the same level of appreciation, I confess I preferred to give up by suggesting it might not be your night for wine.In case you don't remember or just decided to rephrase incorrectly, I told you "All my wines are GOOD but the difficulty in my job is to find the ones you will LIKE". In your specific case, this would have been much easier if you had told me beforehand that you just had spicy food in a Malagasy restaurant. For your information, full bodied wines - what you requested - feel much more acidic on spices. After reading some of the reviews you wrote during your travels, I realize I shouldn't worry too much about customers like you. It seems to be a recurrent pattern for you to show little respect to people. No respect for the winemakers whose wines you tasted, no respect for me who selected these wines and no respect for more than 250 people who reviewed my place extremely positively. Maybe if you reconsidered your attitude, you would get a much better experience in the places you visit."

The waiter was so rude that I need to write a bad review. Can't believe I was so excited to bring my dad to this restaurant with such bad attitude. It was around 6:30pm, there was so many empty seats and the waiter said "we are fully booked" in such an apathetic way. ZERO attempt in trying to accommodate us at all. We took the train and walked ALL THE WAY from the Gare du Nord station not just to be rejected rudely. Thinking about it just makes me angry. Never coming back to try their food. I am sure there are better food somewhere else with better service. We are really sorry that you felt the fact that because we were full that night as as being rude. For information the kitchen opens at 7pm and when you arrived, in fact, the restaurant was still empty while all our tables were reserved, so we could not offer an alternative.Perhaps the way of expressing ourselves in English has not been adequate and we apologize for it.Despite your feeling, we hope to welcome you next time, knowing that we will do everything we can to make this new experience a success.Feel free to book online and to announce you you.
