Situated in heart of Greenock this cellar door is well worth a visit.Of the 36 odd varieties about half were available fro tasting. Luckily Wayne the winemaker was there and we had his undivided attention for an hour.. We were lucky because as we were leaving several other groups came in.All the wines were interesting and I learned plenty about the different varieties.I think this was in the top 2 cellar doors we visited in Barossa.

Enjoyed lunch to celebrate our daughters birthday. Had the truffle and mushroom one, potato pizza, and the tomato and basil. Best pizzas we have had in a long while. Had the crunchy chips as well. Yummo. Great service from all of the staff. Very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this place for lunch , or dinner. Please go and enjoy for yourself. You will thank me.

I only needed a quick bottle of wine, the friendly advise,a limited tasting and I was extremely happy with the outcome. A bottle of Sons of Eden 2018 Freya Riesling was fresh ,vibrant and its citrus characters perfectly suited our meal. Love the comfortable chairs around the bar, great atmosphere. RECOMMEND

The wine here was good enough to buy a few bottles. We didn't eat, just came in for a tasting. We were disappointed by the service - after receiving outstanding service at all of the other wineries we'd been to, First Drop was a bit of a let down. The staff were not particularly friendly or eager to impart their knowledge, and we felt a little unwelcome. Perhaps the service person was just having an off day, but can't say we'd come back or recommend.Hi Clare,Thanks for taking the time to offer your feedback. It's sorely disappointing that we weren't able to deliver the level of service and enjoyment that should be expected from First Drop Wines. We'll take your comments on board and I hope that if you're back in the area you'd give us another opportunity to show you why so many enjoy their visits. Apologies for the delay in responding. No history of the Barossa Valley or Australian wine industry is complete without the mention of Saltram. Saltram has celebrated the tradition and heritage behind the Barossa Valley, making flagship red wines of great style and taste.
Nice staff, nice wines but nothing out of the ordinary. This was the only cellar door we visited and didn't purchase.

We were quite disappointed with the meals, scallops lacked flavour and the pork and rice dish from the specials menu was not a standard dinner size, more a lunch menu size. For $34 it was hugely overpriced.Service was very friendly and nice atmosphere but definately not value for money would probably not go again if in the area.
