We were looking for a dog friendly pub with good food and we found it here!Excellent service and friendly staff. The steak and kidney pie was a real pie with pastry all round! And more meat than I've seen in a pie for quite a while.Thank you.Thank you for your appreciative words. Pies are our chef's pride and joys and will be over the moon to see your comments. Thanks also for taking the time to post this item.RegardsPhil

The food was absolutely spot on - the pâté, quiches and brownies went down particularly well. Would eat again in a heartbeat!

Lovely experience in the middle of nowhere. Initial wafer snack delivered massively more taste than an identical looking offering from Restaurant Gordon Ramsay later in the week. Other outstanding taste sensations from fermented carrot, black pudding, heritage tomatoes, dexter beef. Great job.
