This hotel and restaurant sits in a spectacular location overlooking the Menai Straits on the Ismand of Anglesey. Recently under new management it offers a wide range of cuisine from bar meals to a full dining room service. A good range of beers and wines
Stayed here in October, lovely hotel, fantastic location on the shore of Menai, lovely sea views, great staff, fabulous evening meal (my wife had rib eye and said it was lovely to have a tasty light jus served with the steak instead of being asked an extra two quid for a Diane sauce). Breakfast great, best poached eggs ever, hats off to the chef. We had a brilliant stay, nice bar and a top barman. My daughter and her partner had come over from Canada and we decided to take them to Anglesey for a couple of days. They were blown away by the hotel. Thank you so much and canât wait to returnAndy JThank you very much for your kind words which highlight all the hard work my staff put into the service, we offer a selection of sauces with the steak which is included in the price so no hidden charges, on saying that the chefs must change when they do my breakfast as I end up with hard boiled poached eggs ha.We are all pleased that you enjoyed you stay also that you daughter and partner enjoyed their visit from Canada, I have many happy memories of the time I spent in Alberta. We look forward to hosting you again

Staff were wonderful and the menu looked reasonable. For starters we had Caesar salad and baked Camembert. The salad was bitter had olives in it and was just unappetising. The Camembert was lovely however, it came with a poorly dressed salad a handful of raw warmed walnuts, fried half a plum, it could have been delicious with more effort. Mains was worse. The mussels were in a watery soup and were so small it was a travesty to call them mussels, they were tasteless and the watery soup they were presented in was over flowing with bacon which overpowered everything, really disappointing. The bacon chop was not to salty but presented with melted cheese on top, it said it was served with a mustard sauce where in fact it was a teaspoon of grain mustard thrown around the plate. With more effort and thought this could have been a great meal yet it was just average - I can serve better at home, as this was a special occasion we were extremely disappointed. It was not a busy night either.

Booked when the reservations for 2019 opened in Sept 2018 and the wait did not disappoint. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very simple design (restaurant) Clean toilets. The service was very very good - hats off to Bethan. I heard her speaking Welsh too which was nice to hear. Very well priced drinks; we had a prosecco and the freshly squeezed apple juice (a must!) The food.........delicious! Well presented. Very knowledgeable staff too and friendly. The food is in keeping with the season. Nice coffee too. I want to go back

I have lived locally for some years, and although we have visited the Pier House on occasion for lunch, we have never had breakfast - nor will we again. We run a local Holiday Business and review and recommend local businesses daily...I'm saddened that I am not able to do this for you.I e-mailed and left a message about booking a table for my husbands Birthday Breakfast, we had our parents visiting from Yorkshire so needed a reservation. After no response I called to check if it was booked and it wasn't. It was a good job I checked. On arrival, we ordered drinks, which included 3 cappuccinos, one of which we asked for extra hot. When they arrived we asked which was the extra hot one and the waitress said, 'Oh, none of them I think" This didn't begin well.2 out of 5 menus had jam and other food on them, I wiped them all down with wipes before handing them out to my family. We ordered our breakfasts with poached eggs. We were all disappointed, my dads plate had egg shells on it and was swimming in water, we advised the staff who promptly took it away, he brought it back moments later exactly the same except the shell picked out! We stated that this wasn't good enough again and the staff took it away again. His breakfast was brought back with a new poached egg. However, the rest of his food had not been changed and was cold and solid. The rest of us were also disappointed given our plates were also very wet, egg whites over runny and toast, hash browns soggy. The toast (Half was still bread and the other half borderline burnt) was 'buttered' barely and most of which was left. The manager came over and said 'see me at the end'.I went up to the bar to pay and chat to him as I didn't want to ruin my husbands birthday or my parents experience (anymore than it already was) by doing it at the table. He said he would speak to the chef about it and said he'd knock something off the bill as a gesture. I paid and checked the bill as I left to find he'd only knocked the cost of a childs' beans on toast, off our bill (approx half the cost of one adult breakfast). Not really a gesture as salt in the wound of a £60 breakfast for 4 adults. (and a child who picked at ours)I feel that staff training is a must, more thorough cleaning of menus regularly, if poached eggs are tricky, take them off the menu and when food comes out as it did, that item should be removed from a bill without comment. We are really disappointed.Hi DanielleB849. We're very sorry and extremely disappointed to hear of your experience, this is not up to the usual standard we strive to deliver. I have spoken to the team regarding this matter and the manager in question to ensure it doesn't happen again. We are currently in the process of retraining staff and new menus are on the way however i appreciate the menus we do have shouldn't of been dirty in the first lace so thank you for bringing that to our attention. We do hope your Husband enjoyed the rest of his birthday.

Booked online and was greeted by the friendly Manager. I chose the Black Pudding Scotch Egg, Hummus and Lemon Meringue Mille Feuille with a glass of house white. Food was served quickly with friendly and attentive service. Food itself was nicely cooked, well seasoned and presented in a modern, contemporary style. Highly recommendable.

Beau's Tea Room- a traditional tea room serving over 30 types of tea, together with a selection of cakes and light meals.
When visiting Beaumaris last week we were looking for a place to have a little lunch. There were lots of places serving fish and chips but we found a lovely little tearoom on Castle Street with people queuing out the door. We walked on but couldnât find anywhere that we fancied so went back to the tearoom and found just two people waiting. We joined them and were given a menu so that we could decide on what to have whilst we waited. There was a very interesting article fastened to the wall about the ownership of the cafe. The place is really small and very quaint with just five tables however we were soon shown to a table. My husband had scones with jam and cream, my brother in law chose crumpets and I had a delicious tuna mayonnaise sandwich served with a side salad. The waitresses were very helpful and efficient and there was soon an even longer queue forming outside by the time we left. Beaus is obviously a very popular little place and rightly so.

The Award Winning Midland Tapas & Wine Bar is now at Conwy!! We are looking to provide our Conwy customers with the same quality of food, drink, service and surroundings as we have in Beaumaris.
Visited The Midland on numerous occasions and always been fantastic. This time was good but left a little deflated as we were so looking forward to our visit. The garlic bread with cheese seems to have been altered as it was more like cheese on toast with a hint of garlic. The food was rushed out to us and some of it spilt on to the table when being placed onto the table by the waitress. It was not busy so was a little perplexed as to why everything was being thrown at us. On a plus note the peiking pig was great as usual.

The Bishopsgate restaurant offers good, basic, hearty meals. They have lovely soups and plenty of tasty options for dinner. We had two breakfasts here and both were excellent and catered for us and the teen children. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals.

Welcome to Harryâs Bistro. We are passionate about our food and will offer you a special dining experience. You will find us just outside beautiful Beaumaris on the Island of Anglesey. Harryâs is situated within Henllys Hall, a famous old mansion house se
Not the easiest place to find, well worth it when you do. A short drive/taxi ride out of the centre. The restaurant was packed when we entered and we were a little concerned when they were unable to find our booking, when they did find it it was for the next evening. The lady reassured us, asked us to take a seat and said she would sort it for us, within minutes we were seated at a lovely table. Our food was excellent, the crab staters a little expensive at £13, however, worth every single penny - delicious. We all chose steaks and they were cooked to perfection. All washed down by excellent wine and prosecco. Highly recommend a visit to this excellent establishment. Exceptional food and service, not cheap, but as always, you get what you pay for.
