Soups here are pretty good. They have interesting speciality soups and I had me in a pork broth with pork, and shrimp and calamari. Good summer rolls as well. Simple place, good food.

Dropped in for a super late lunch and wanted just enough to tide me over for a dinner with my wife. The friendly gent at the counter suggested a chicken sandwich. Though skeptical, I agreed and got a 33 Vietnamese beer to wash things down. Both were excellent! The sandwich was filled with crunchy fresh vegetables and nicely SPICED chicken chunks. The beer was almost a perfect midpoint between Sam Adams and Corona. The e place itself is unassuming but comfortable. I'll be back.

Mi Lay Cay is a great neighborhood casual restaurant. We had Pho (a traditional noodle soup), a grilled chicken dish and a Vietnamese pancake. All were flavorful, perfectly prepared and eye pleasing. Back to the Vietnamese pancake, if you have never had one, these are the best I have had. They are not the traditional sweet breakfast item here. They are filled with different meats, shrimp, veggies and comes with homemade fish sauce. May sound strange, but I assure it is awesome. The staff was wonderful and friendly...our waitress was Lin and she did a great job. We definitely will go back.....

A good addition to Wheaton - Eaten here twice since it opened. Overall their food is very fresh and the sauces are very good. Loved the papaya salad - fresh, tasty - add some nuock mam - vietnamese fish sauce, some siracha and you are good to go. The summer rolls are a very credible version, ingredients all fresh. We tried a minimally spicy shrimp with tomato, green pepper and onion in a garlic pepper sauce. It was very tasty and the shrimp were excellent/jumbo. The menu has the usual pho noodle soups and various rice bowls. We are fortunate to have another excellent asian restaurant to add to Wheaton's mix

Pho is excellent for cheap eats! We had a large group, so there was a little confusion as the bowls were served and menu numbers were called. They provided large plates of sprouts, lime wedges, basil and peppers to add, as well as hot sauce and hoisin sauce that could be added to the soup. The broth was good on its own, with plenty of meat and noodles. For dessert, they offered something with crushed ice, coconut milk, and other ingredients, including some type of rice noodle and beans. Interesting and tasty!
