We booked luckily for a table of 6 for a Monday evening....when we arrived the car park next door was nearly full and we thought (mistakenly) that there was a function across the road at the Town Hall.....wrong....car owners were all in NNQ!Big restaurant but packed out. Service was swift and very good. Cold rolls and spring rolls delicious as was the pork belly and the seafood with noodles. We finished with yummy sticky black rice with Mango sorbet. Itâs very reasonably priced and great value.Do try it....but remember to book

As Iâm sensitive to added MSG in food I couldnât enjoy a banquet with my friends here. I really donât understand why chefs/cooks need to add MSG to their dishes particularly in Vietnamese cuisine. Is it really that necessary?!!!I will never return here and NNQ Express at Grange is even worse and told me all their dishes have added MSG. Very disappointing.

Quite a new Vietnamese restaurant right on the lake with great views and outside dining. It was previously a Greek restaurant and probably needs to update some of the decor but the food is excellent; very tasty and large portions and the staff are friendly and attentive. There is a good Viet menu but do try the sizzling crocodile in garlic and ginger - a really nice texture and flavour, something like pork crossed with squid! Starters are a good size and the spring rolls (vege) and salt and pepper squid were lovely as was the other main of roast pork salad. Value is good and overall a really nice experience for a Sunday lunch but should be a popular local destination. And yes they have a drinks licence now.

Our grand daughter wanted to celebrate her 20th Birthday at the Vietnamese Mai Kitchen Restaurant so not having eaten Vietnamese food before,we went with some trepidation. We need not have worried as the food was excellent and great value. The service was good and the meals were served quickly.I had the garlic prawns, stir fried vegetables served and a steaming hot plate and my wife had Lemon Chicken whichj she thoroughly enjoyed.Do not be put off by the outside appearance of the restaurant as the inside is well presented and quite large. So from now on we will be eating more Vietnamese food and certainly be going back to Mai Kitchen Restaurant.

Favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide ! Small restaurant so can get a bit noisy. Booking a table is essential to avoid disappointment as it is always busy. Their sugarcane juice and young tender coconut are refreshing. Their BBQ Quail is a must try. My favourite is their combination rice hot pot, soft shell crab and their quail. Their pho is also good . Portions are quite big so can be shared.
