We thought we'd try this place after finding out it is similar to The Boiling Crab. You can order various 'clean' entrees, but we wanted to try the messy one. Make sure you have clean hands! You order what you want (2-3 lbs of potatoes, shrimp, sausage, etc.) and they put it in a sauce in a big plastic bag and that is how it is served. They give you a bib and lots of napkins. The table is covered with white paper. Then you 'dig' into the bag and pull out what you want to eat. No plates. It is very messy but a fun and unusual eating experience. We ordered shrimp as part of our bag, and the shrimp shells just pile up in front of you. It is 'finger-licking good'. The wait staff is helpful when ordering. The place was crowded with patrons. We were glad we were brave enough to try this out.
Good vietnamese restaurant. Food taste ok. Service is friendly. The special of the house is nem. Try their summers rolls, fresh and tasty.
When I went there, usually order half chicken and plain Vietnamese noodle with soup. Flash delicious chicken with tempting shining skin make people mouth watering. Smooth noodle in the clear soup seems not made from dry inventory as well as steam rice noodle. Friendly service, guarantee you won't be disappointed about their product if you love Vietnamese noodle.

This place has a lot to offer, food wise. They have Chinese and Vietnamese dished on the restaurant area but also has sandwiches and desserts on the adjacent area. They also have baked goods. I love their Vietnamese sandwiches and the noodle dishes. This is not a typical area that I would normally go to but certain events brought me here. This is the second time I came here and I'm very satisfied with the food. The service on the other hand was lousy. The first time on of the cashier was being totally rude and snobby. Must be her time of the month. No smile, no greetings, no "thank you" after the purchase. This time we don't deal with her but our server got one of our orders wrong. The wrong dish wasn't bad but it wasn't what we wanted. Luckily, my meal was served correctly. The prices are very good compared to Western restaurants. My bowl of noodle with shrimp and pork came out to less than $7. I also love their Thai ice tea.I probably would not come here again on purpose but if I happen to be in the area I'd overlook some bad service for their good food.

This unassuming hole in the wall in a small strip mall is pure delight. Although bracketed by a 7-11 convenience store, a discount mobile phone shop, and a dry cleaner, you know you've chosen well when you see chairs arrayed outside for waiting diners and the chairs are all filled. This is a busy place. Rightfully so. We were fortunate to hit a lull and were seated immediately but people were waiting for a table the entire time we were there. The food is terrific. Is it authentic? The customers were 98% Asian when we ate there. That's a good sign about authenticity. I ordered a seafood Pho with shrimp and crab. It did not resemble what I'm used to getting in San Jose but it was delicious nevertheless. One of my dinner companions ordered yellow curry chicken with french bread. Seemed unusual. Also delicious. Be prepared for the endless menu. It's 30 or 40 pages long. Better: do your homework and study the menu online before visiting. Very highly recommended.

I was visiting Southern California for a few days and it was late afternoon after driving around Rosemead. The stomach was signaling for some body fuel. It was then whiling driving my white rented Toyota Camry we spotted a coffee café on Valley Blvd.We stopped our car and walked into the café. It was quite big with plenty of room to sit. At a glance, it was booth a Bakery and Café type of restaurant, like "Marie Callarendar" restaurant type. However, Bhan Mi Che Cali serves both Vietnamese and American style of cuisines. I ordered coffee and some pastries for the afternoon.

Before leaving for LAX to return home, we visited this restaurant to try their pho as they were full house in the previous night. There is always a reason why the restaurant is full house - good food, neat and tidy environment plus good services are all the reasons. Of course, inexpensive price is also another catalyst. I tried their "Special Pho" and spring rolls; both of which are good.
We stopped here for coffee and croissant yesterday. It took two tries for us to get everything we ordered but the problem was resolved quickly. My biggest complaint is that several of the tables were not cleaned. (There's only 10 or so tables in the place) We had to pick a dirty table and clean it ourselves which wasn't ideal. Overall not a great experience.
