Find out what Vietnamese restaurants to try in Lihue. Lihue, Kauai's capital city, is also served by the island's only airport, making it the most popular port of entry to Kauai and a hub of industry on this small island. However, Lihue retains its island charm and emerald beauty despite its urbanization. Spend the day sunbathing and dipping into the temperate waters at Kalapaki Beach before enjoying a luau at Kilohana Plantation. Step out of town to witness breathtaking Wailua Falls cascading over tiered stone to a drop of 80 feet.

Just happened on this place by chance - and glad I was in the right place at the right time. I had the pho with rare steak and brisket, with generous portions of basil and bean sprouts, and with very generous portions of chili sauce. So good! My wife and daughters all had vegetarian dishes, so I wasnât too interested in what they had. My only regret was that they were out of beef tendons. But you know, a Pho restaurant that sells out of beef tendons must be selling a lot - and for good reason.

If you love Pho this is your place. But dont be surprise by its space, very cheaply made, old and dirtyish. Huge selection of meals so I just went with the most popular Pho. The customer service is 0, no smile, no chat, nothing...but the soup was good, not great.
This is the third Vietnamese Pho restaurant on Kaua'i I've been to and although the menu is a bit more limited in size than the others the meal I had was really well prepared and had a fresh feeling, not so apparent in the other places. The staff and owner ( who visited with me for a long conversation), were so welcoming that I was strongly pulled to return soon. So far, lunch only. Free parking adjacent to the restaurant.
