I just walked in this restaurant on my first day in Trois-Rivieres and it happened to be the best. The service was friendly, fast and very attentive. They were very happy to make adjustments to the menu to accommodate my preferences. I was served fast, the food was hot adn very tasty. Not quite the vietnamese food I am used to, a bit too greasy, but still very tasty and the flavours worked very well together. I will go again.

The good stuff: 1] nicely decorated interior, 2] peaceful, 3] pretty patio outside, 4] you can bring your own bottle of wine, 5] lovely (non-Asian) waiter. The bad stuff: the food isn't that great. 1] A pho soup of $5.99 was LESS than HALF the size you'd normally get in a true PHO restaurant. My quail dish was crispy with not much meat, but I don't mind that. 2] I mind the flies buzzing around inside the restaurant (which is why we decided not to sit out on the patio). 3] My husband's dish of carmelized pork was drenched in salty sauce. 4] Our table d'hote meal included a limp salad and dessert which was canned fruit cocktail. 5] We had one server for the entire restaurant so service was slow. So really, come here for the atmosphere, not for the overpriced, spotty food and tardy service.

We ate in the lunch set, value for money. Food was wonderful and the owners very charming. Definitely, we will come back.
