We came here around a late lunch time. Didn't need any reservation and had no issue getting seated. Food was wonderful and such a beautiful view, super relaxing. Town is great to take photos in because it's basically empty, I don't think many people actually live there anymore so we just wandered streets and take some wonderful photos. Definitely so glad we stopped here.Gentilissimo sig Detroit , graxie per essersi fermato a pranzo nel mio ristorante. Ancora più felice che abbia mangiato bene e che la location gli sia piaciuta . Il mio giardino e veramente bello e Volpaia ancora di più . A presto

We did not have a reservation & this restaurant was wonderful to let us in. The service was truly a fine dining experience. The wine was spectacular and the food was overall very good. We decided to try the Florentine steak & split it with the other couple. It is huge, so it was a good choice to share. The steak did not live up to our expectation, but I am sure it may for some. I would recommend you make a reservation here & enjoy the wonderful experience.

We are situated in the heart of Chianti old town, in an area rich in original produce which we carefully select to create our dishes. Drawing inspiration from Chianti tradition, our Chef Marco Lagrimino reinterprets and recreates local cuisine with a fres
We four were staying in a Villa just outside Radda in Chianti and wanted to have a special birthday dinner. Based on TripAdvisor and other reviews we reserved a table at Osteria Volpaia. We were told that our menu would be based on what the chef elected to serve that evening. We could chose the number of courses. In my previous experience letting the chef choose is rarely a mistake. What followed was one of the most memorable meals of our vacation. While we chose the three course option, we quickly lost count of all the plates that came to our table. It seemed that each was more inventive and more delicious than the previous, using fresh organic ingredients, most produced on site. The ingredients were typically Tuscan - chicken liver, wild boar, vin santo, etc, , but prepared in atypical fashion. It is hard to describe the chicken liver "panforte" made with chestnut flower except to say that it was extraordinary. With our meal we chose to drink the 2015 Volpaia Chianti Classico Gran Riserva. It was the perfect wine to enhance our meal. The service was wonderful. The waiters were clearly very passionate about the provenance and quality of the food. They enhanced our dinner tremendously. We thank the chef and the serving staff for providing us with such a memorable celebration.

We stopped into this great restaurant for lunch and were so pleased that we did. As we were seated, we were met by the smiling face of Monica, one of the owners. We ordered the bruschetta with the yummiest fresh tomatoes - wow - the best we have had in the Chianti region. We also ordered the pici con pepper with perocino cheese - the flavors just exploded in our mouthsAs we left, we also met her brother, David, the co owner. Beautiful experience - we will be back!

The food was excellent. The salad with apples and walnuts was great as was the pasta. The pice with tomato sauce was phenomenal and I would recommend the pasta with sausage and broccoli sauce. We also had the chicken steak and the pasta with boar ragout which was amazing. The service was great - the owner really cares. All in all, a great find.

In a charming local of the 1300s, there is the wine shop & wine bar of Casa Porciatti. Comfortably seated at the tables of the wine bar you can choose to accompany your wine with a platter of cured meats of our production, Tuscan cheeses and bruschetta, o
Tucked away down a quaint alley is this bastion of fine food and wine. We sat amongst a fabulous collection of wine of which many can be sampled for a small charge. The Borloti soup was thick and flavoursome, whilst the bruschetta with spinach, tomatoes and truffles just rocked. The pasta courses were spot on. The local pasta Pici served just with truffles and butter was as delicious as it was simple, whereas the Ravioli with pumpkin and ginger raised the roof. We sampled a couple of Chianti's which were as smooth as silk. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and our waiter spoke great English and was very passionate and knowledgeable about the local wines and cuisines. A totally memorable experience.

Amazing food at really low prices for this area. Beautiful setting and Paola makes it special - while we were there she was up on a chair picking figs from the tree to hand out to all the customers. A very special interlude for lunch. Shame you canât give six stars!

Tiny restaurant in a tiny hamlet not far from Radda In Chianti and Volpaia, serving wonderful local Tuscan food.
The lunch we enjoyed and the spectacular view from the outside area made our first meal on this vacation a pleasure. A great way to begin this trip. Every ingredient in my bruschetta and salad was fresh and well prepared. My partner greatly appreciated our waiter ( one of many examples of the consideration shown by the staff) truthfully telling her that the wild boar in the boar and pappardelle main course was frozen. It too was delicious. Of course the choices of wine by the glass were numerous.Radda is a must drive for anyone in the Chianti area, and this welcoming hospitable restaurant is a pleasure.
