How amazing to hike through the Tuscany countryside, up and down undulating hills, to the Toscani farm, where the once-endangered, presently famous, Cinta Senese pigs roam freely and happily, then to lunch at Bradi Toscani, which features the delectable meat of these animals in salami and other cuts. We also had a rich and hearty vegetable soup and enjoyed a select bottle of Montepulciano Brunella, known worldwide.Buying that wine was a mistake! The gregarious owner of Bradi Toscani sent us to a bar/winery/cave "down the street" named Cantina Porte del Sol, which is also in his family. There, the gregarious staff gave us a tour of what surely is an ancient cave. We also sampled a wine named after the three Toscani brothers which had an extraordinary complexity and provided the perfect finale for a wonderful day.Next time, Bradi Toscani all the way!!!!

A new restaurant in this unspoiled mediaeval hill town. It is run by Deborah, the charming daughter of Daria, owner of Monticchiello's famed La Porta. I hosted a wedding eve dinner there on July 7th - the first big party Deborah had catered. The food, win
Everything started great. We were served a glass of wine and a basket of bread immediately upon seating. After that, Daria came and took our ordered. The food was delicious (with the exception of dessert and espresso). After we were provided our entrees the service went completely downhill. We had to chase down a server for more wine, to clear our plates (after sitting there over 30 minutes), to see the dessert menu, etc. We noticed the larger groups getting treated very well yet the couples not that great. This really put a damper on the experience.Overall not sure I'd recommend. The food was great but the poor service isn't worth it.

I was very eager to take my friends to Bruno's as well as not having been back myself for a few years. Located on a central street of Citta' della Pieve, it offers a lovely decor and ambiance (upstairs and downstairs dining rooms), very very good service and excellent Umbrian and Tuscan dishes. The service is excellent and staff very nice and helpful. The locale was completely restructured a few years ago with great taste and also keeping the original frescos on the ceilings in the upper rooms of what was originally a medieval house.

Great italian restaurant specialized in cooking fish and finest Tuscan cuisine . Very refined location. The staff Will make yourself at home
A real hidden gem. Simply outstanding!!! We loved it! It's tucked away in Chiusi, Tuscany but well worth finding. It felt like sitting by in a high-end restaurant in Florence or Rome. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Don't use the menu, let them lay the meal out and match the wines for you. You will be very pleased.

We really enjoyed the food and wine on our first night in Pienza. Will we be able to better it? I doubt it. We had cheese on toast to start but so nice with truffle or walnuts with it. Then followed by the pica ragu or boar pasta. All great

This town is truly stunning peppered with quality shops and restaurants. We were spoiled for choice, but settled for this restaurant & and were not disappointed! Everything about the restaurant spoke quality. This was one of the very few restaurants that Iâve had cheese fondue! Cured meats and bean Zuppa featured, but I settled for the Mozzarella di Bufala salad .

Went with the waiter's recommendation of the Penelope sandwhich (which I ordered) and Pappardelle Cinghiale (which my husband ordered). Both dishes were exceptional!! The service was very good as well! Highly recommend!!

This is (among other things) a great spot to take a lunch break when driving the A1. It's easy to reach, the food is excellent and it's cheap. We had good pastas (inc. vongole, as it was on the weekend) and tagliati.
