The local coffee presentation was very good and the service was seccessful. I would recommend the landscape beatiful
The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service excellent and the cooking first rate. True, it doesn't have the spectacular view over the valley that restaurants on the other side of Mardin's congested main street have, but this is a special place.
In Mardin, which has hosted ancient civilizations with its 7000-year history, traditional tastes are touched by the mother's hand. Dobo, which is a special dish that gives the name of the restaurant, Stuffed ribs, fried stuffed meatballs (ikrok), boiled s

This is a low key restaurant where the locals eat. So you can't go wrong. They offer kebabs and the food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

The Restaurant of Yusuf Usta is a very humble restaurant in Mardin. If you wish to eat something very typical in Mardin, many people will address to the Yusuf Usta (Master/Chef Yusuf) among two or three highly preferred restaurants. They offer you the Mardin Kebab which is a kind of meatball on skewers. There are two types, namely with and without hot spice (acili, acisiz). They serve authentic ayran (yogurt drink/butter milk) in the local metal bowl, season salad and tomato dip with onion and spices. Please do not disturb from the crowd waiting out of the restaurant. As I already mentioned, it is very in fashion due to its reliable and delicious dishes. The price is as humble as the decoration of the restaurant :)

We had already had a meal in Mardin that was hard to beat, and dropped in here on our way to the airport. The service was efficient and the food was excellent...chicken stew for my friend, and lamb with âblack plumsâ (prunes) and chick peas for me. The combination of freshness and spices was brilliant. Also the red wine is to be recommended. This is definitely worth a visit.

I have been living in Istanbul for over a year, and have eaten at some amazing places, but this is the best meal so far in the country. I think the chef has won some international award. Well deserved! The mezze are so unusual and tasy, and you must try the boiled kibbeh as well. Then any lamb dish...the combination of spices was so unusual. Also they have ferike dishes here....I think you have to go if you are in the area. The door off the street is quite unassuming so be sure not to miss it!

Local Dishes, breakfast, traditional grill Restaurant
Most say Bagdadi is the best place to eat, but we found Seyr-i Merdin had the best food by far in all of Mardin. We ended up eating there every day we stayed! Recommended foods: mezzes- Humus, Filefle, Mikli; traditional dishes: Sac Tava, Sembusek (their version of lahmacun), Ali Nazik (Zirh Kiymasi ile). The only problem we had was the first evening, when we needed to repeat our order three times and they still brought the wrong dish. But the other two meals we had there was no problem.
