Authentic and very tasty Mediterranean dishes. Lots of variety. Pleasant service. Right in the middle of town; very central. Reasonable prices.

These guys are super friendly, open late and make yummy Turkish kebabs. There are choices of lamb, beef, and chicken I think and also vegetarian. You can have flatbread, Turkish burger buns or plates and many other things. Probably a good place for celiacs if you get a plate (not a roll) and get it without bulger. Check first though.

We had spent some weeks in Germany and were a bit jaded by the wurst, cabbage, etc. This restuarant, somewhat off the tourist trap area of Lubeck, was recommended by a young local as being of the best in the town. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and absolutely delectable. All the courses we tried were fabulous. Although sated, we had to try the Turkish dessert of mozarella fried in a light pastry, with honey and yogurt. It was delicious. The Turkish red wine also exceeded our expectations.
