Meshur Acar Karavan is on the walking street, the restaurant is built in 600 years old Hamam and nicely decorated.We were not so hungry, but ended up eating a lot, the service was really frendly. Er got as well some free samples of gozleme and refreshing Turkish coffee for free in a separate coffee room.

Rural Anatolia at it's best.The Santral offers home cooked food and a warm welcome. Popular with locals, it's half way down the pedestrian street, opposite a small camii.Kutahya is a delightful, historic town, just over an hour by train from Eskisehir, very much worth the journey.Traditional untouristed Turkey.

On the ground floor is the patisserie, with mouth-watering displays of cakes, chocolate and Turkish delicacies. On the first floor is an attractive casual-but-smart tea room style restaurant. There's a full menu of pizza/pasta/sandwich style, but the specialities are the delicious cakes and ice cream concoctions. Really friendly and helpful staff add to the pleasure of a visit, but (almost next to the Hilton) this is a real treat and not to be missed.

We had a lunch in the outside garden. The scenery looks nice although it is not natural. The apetizers were simple ones and the thin bread or 'lavash' as it is called was ok. We had aubergine kebab which was not extraordinary. Pieces of egg plants and meatballs grilled on a skewer. The eggplant wasnot so appealing. Nothing extraordinary for the meat as well. I wasnot satisfied but it may look as the better reastaurants in the area.

I was in Turkey for four months and loved to visit Porsuk which is some kilometers from the city. On our first visit when the weather was fine we dined out under the Linden trees. One is taken to the butcher shop to choose which meats you want to cook. Also to choose the meze and side dishes. Then a barbecue(Braii) is brought beside your table for you to do the cooking. Very good food and great fun. In winter the indoor restaurant has a built in fire place beside each table for the same experience. Alcohol is served. Hope I can return some time.

Ortam çok nezih, ferah, yemekler ve çalıÅanların ilgisi ve nezaketi çok iyi. Mezelerin tadı harika. Fiyatlar çok uygun. 4 kiÅi 120 lira ödedik. Zor beÄenen biri olarak tereddütsüz tavsiye ediyorum.
