We arrived quite late and the owner took me to the fish counter and offered me a fish at a reduced price (love a bit of bartering). It was, quite simply, superb. Beautifully cooked, gorgeous butter to drizzle over it, rest of our food was fresh and cooked to perfection . Seaport is one of our favourites in Kalkan and we will see you soon as we fly out later! This is the only restaurant we continue to return to. Thank you, as always x

Both times was able to enjoy the outside table with fantastic views over Kalamar bay under the shade. Breakfast was very impressive pancakes (3 huge ones each). Stuck with the burgers for the evening meal which were very nice. Staff incredibly helpful - waiter managed to get rid of an annoying wasp with ease!

Welcome to Cafevita Kalkan TurkeyIf you haven't yet been to visit us at Cafe Vita in Kalamar then a treat is waiting for you. You will find our cafe on Kalamar Road, ideally located for everyone staying in the Kalamar Bay area and half a mile from Kalkan
Lovely friendly service from this Cafe, we ordered take away one night after I had hurt my ankle. Had the Kofte and turkish musakka. Very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Only wished we had gotten the homemade chips as others had recommended maybe next year.

Ramis welcomes old and new guests to his Kalkan new rooftop restaurant. Offering a range of succulent meals using local produce especially prepared for you.
Booked dinner at 19:30 and there were already two diners when we arrived. We were welcomed and seated by the older of the two brothers that operate this restaurant and allocated a table providing the best view over the bay. Ordered sparkling water and a glass of wine each, then decided on Moussaka and Sizzling Turkish Meatballs. This was our final night and we had dined at seven different restaurants who all provide an appetiser of garlic bread and dips, but this was the best selection from cabbage in yoghurt, sweet peppers in tomatoes, dill in yoghurt and a tomato, onion, olive and aubergine dip. My Sizzling Meatballs are served on a warming flame and the moussaka in an earthenware dish placed in the centre of our table for us to share, just like being in a family home and they were absolutely delicious. We nearly managed to finish them! The House Rose and White wine were good and the service friend6without being intrusive. This is a quieter dining experience than most other restaurants and so relaxing. Totally recommended Smyrna Ramis and at 210 lira for the lot, very good value.

We run a clean and natural service with traditional turkish dishes in our family restaurant. We serve fresh bread and pizza, pide from stone oven. yes maybe we do not have a view, we do not have a terrace, but our meals are very different and delicious. W
I would recommend this family run restaurant to anyone. Great food served with a smile & very reasonable prices. Wishing the family the success they deserve.

We visited the sunset for the first time in a couple of years and found the quality of food to be excellent again, the only downside was that the service was a little slow and everything was a little expensive in comparison to other restaurants of a similar standard.

After reading some excellent reviews we were look8ng forward to eating here. We wer3 disappointed in the standard of the fish platter which did not live up to its discription as is was quite small and a little over cooked. Quite expensive in comparison to other restaurants.

We had a good meal here, a bit expensive but pretty average for this part of town and with a sea view. We both had the meatballs, which were lovely. The gentleman on street level inviting people up to the restaurant was very nice and chatty, and even remembered us later in the holiday when we walked past - impressive seeing as he must see a lot of people!

After protracted emailing we managed to reserve a table during our 10 day first and final visit to Kalkan. The food was good but not great. We had meatballs wrapped in aubergine which my partner liked but said the meatballs would have been uninteresting on their own. I had the seafood casserole - the ingredients were good but it was poorly seasoned and bland tasting. The atmosphere is quirky and the service good. However I canât see why this restaurant merits first place on TA. There are many better restaurants in this tourist town.

Having read earlier reviews, we thought we'd give this place a try and pleased that we did. Good quality coffee with a touch of alcohol and excellent baklava. Lovely way to end the evening and we returned quite often. Also great spot on the comfy front chairs for a bit of people watching.
