Having developed a taste for balik ekmek (fish on half bread) on our previous holidays we just had to come here for lunch. We were not disappointed, friendly service, freshly cooked fish goujons, onion and a little salad on bread with a side dish of pickled peppers and a glass of cay or two, sat on the riverside, great!
We have fish and bread, fast food.
Stopped off here for a quick bite at lunch time and ordered a portion of chips between two and a battered fish sandwich each. Freshly cooked and really tasty! Sandwiches come wrapped in paper and are very filling. Lovely little chip shop with great prices! Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Wish to see you again. :)

We had a beautiful dinner at Tiki Meyhane with our friends. We tried many traditional mezzes, especially liked semizotu(purslane with yogurt), tahinli patlican (tahini and eggplant), saksuka (a dish made with peppers, onions, eggplant, potatoes, frying or roasting and on the top fresh tomato, garlic sauce), pastirmali mantar( baked mushrooms in pastrami and melted cheese), kuru cacik (green plums with garlic yoghurt also mint)mezze. I recommend you to try each of these mezzes a little bit, but I ask you to ask if it is chili or not. These were just entrees. Also we ordered ızgara kofte (meatballs in coal fire), tavuk sis (chicken with special sauce on skewers), sis kebap (meat with special sauce on skewers). And after dinner kemalpasa dessert was fabulous. All food was delicious and service was efficient. The owner named Gokhan was so friendly and helpful. All food was so delicious and different tastes. Would definitely recommend

This restaurant was the first in the region, built by a local (Mr Halil) almost 55years ago. Main servers/waiters are serving there for more than 20years. Nothing to say about the taste of the food.It deserves 5stars and the fame.Ambiance is great, the sound of the flowing river is very calming and peaceful , seafood and herb dishes are great.A little bit pricey as I said, 2 people end up paying 200TL for only Meze's and 1 glass of Raki but it worth it for sure.I would recommend this place. It has very limited space ,max 50or 60people can be seated but not more. We have enjoyed this spot on our way from Marmaris to Bodrum, I recommend to make a detour from your trip to see AZMAK and its area.

We present our space to your liking by showing your dedication from all means in order to look at the comfort of our beautiful seaside town and holiday guests. With its exquisite meshes, gratings and delightful music, RAHAT MEYHANE is at your service thro
This review will be more about the attitude of the place, rather than the food. You can decide for yourself whether you want to do business with such people once you read it. I guess some people wouldn't mind, but I am somebody who believes that restaurants, above all, are places to interact with people and sharing important moments of joy. The owners and the people working in a restaurant contribute to this, they have to share the same values. A restaurant, above all, must be a welcoming place. This business is all about hospitality, nothing else. We went to Rahat Meyhane yesterday, (which means easy-going, chilled, relaxed meyhane in Turkish) with my mom. We were two women and we asked the waiter if we could sit at a table that was free. He said there had no more places for 'two people'. I didn't want to insist since he had the unpleasant, rude and arrogant face on. But then we thought: aren't couples going there to dine? Akyaka is a place with lot of tourists and I can't imagine couples not coming to the 'best' restraurant in town. So they refuse them as well? I don't think so. The conclusion we arrived to was that because we were two women, the waiter must have concluded that we wouldn't be 'good' customers, meaning we would not spend as much as two guys, or even as a couple (they must be thinking men on average drink more than women so...). Now let me ask you: is this compatible with the work ethic of a restaurant? How is this hospitality, to refuse people who come to you to taste your food? Unfortunately this is an attitude we see a lot in Turkey. People who have nothing to do with HORECA sector start restautants, employ people as waiters who have no etiquette at all, and they all become very arrogant and start picking customers based on who is going to bring in more money. Is that all there is to restraurant business? Are we, as clients, only numbers and dollars? It is such a shame, we couldn't even sit down to eat something there. The food might be great, but it has zero value to me, since this attitude is simply a disgrace. I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody and will keep telling this story to people. Such attitudes are the reason why Turkey always remains a second class tourist destination.I read your comment with great care. Firstly, thank you. but I know the issue as an manager. I don't think we deserve this comment because we don't have a table available. The number of people is not important to us. customer satisfaction, which is important, try to be as attentive as we can. Still, I apologize to you. if you have any idea to come again, please make a reservation. we would like to entertain you.

Big Blue Hotel and Restaurant are located right on the beach front so you can enjoy the magnificent views of Gokova Bay from our Hotel Rooms or excellent beachside A La Carte Restaurant. The restaurant has a varied and rich menu catering to Turkish and In
I have tried this restaurant twice. For lunch and coffee / breakfast. But they are very amateur. They didn't have all I asked. Coffee? Machine is broken, Lemonade? finished, Tea? You have to wait 15 minutes etc. They have only one dessert. When you're listening jazz music they're changing the music abruptly to Turkish, opening the voice louder and you have to listen a same song like 20 times. Shortly; restaurant with a novice waiters, uninterested managers. I really surprise for the positive comments!!

This is a branch of the well known Olive Tree on the Datca Peninsula and our first dining experience in Akyaka. The service was good and the food well cooked. There is a very varied menu. However we like real Turkish Cuisine rather than International and it struck me very quickly that you could feel very at home here if you were used to dining in Turkish Cyprus or indeed London. Many people would perhaps prefer this style of food. There is also a shop attached selling the Olive Tree beauty products which is handy if you want to take home nice souvenirs. When we were leaving we noticed in the Cafe area some fabulous cakes and took some with us. The chocolate gateau was delicious.
