The restaurant has a very good location with a nice garden. The food is ok but not spicy at all. Bhutan is known for its spicy food notably emadashi a chile cheese dish. Dechinling served a potato cheese dish that had no chile and little taste. Other food was more typical of India or Nepal, which is true in toursit places in Bhutan. I thought it would be more like Bhutanese food with buckwheat or barley flour and spicy. I see others have given the momo dish a good rating so if I go back I will try momos.

Street food is the new kid on the block of eating out but the truth has always been that good food is prepared by those who care. It maybe tucked away at the end of an alley and the decor a little ancient but here is a wonderful Tibetan eating experience. A little gem! Prepared by those who care about what they serve. It already displays two certificates of excellence from one TripAdvisor! Good grub at a real affordable price. In Kathmandu? Then search this little place out on Themal Marg.

This was our first dinner in Nepal and offered a great taste of the country. There were 3 thalis (among plenty of other things) so were able to sample quite a few different dishes. The food was tasty and looking back seemed quite authentic.A good drinks selection too of different teas and beers including the warm Millet beer.Comparing this with other restaurants we went to this was a good choice.

So glad we tried this restaurant . We were greeted by the owner who was really personable. Family run. It is a small place but very clean and nicely decorated. Food was excellent. We had the veg momos and they were yummy and filling. The vegetable tali with the buckwheat roti were divine. The Masala tea was rich and spicy. Busy little place but not surprised!! Would certainly go back!

Prices are hard to beat, so cheap and so low in thamel itâs surprising. And many tourists as well. For the price , canât complain much about the food which is cleaner, hygienically prepared. However too salty for our tastebuds (pork momos, and thentun). Service is good.

After great reviews we had our last dinner here before we left Nepal. We all found the food very average. There were little vegetarian options and what was offered, was not appealing. Staff were good but food was overpricedNamaste ElnexaThank you for your review. I am sorry that you found our food very average. you have not mentioned what dish you had? it might not be your taste or went something wrong? I do not know yet .if you are around please visit again and meet me. Regarding the price, most of the ingredients we use in our kitchen come from outside the country and they are the high quality, of course, they cost more and lots of overhead costs...................RegardsBijay [email protected]
