We used to go to the Thai restaurant that was at this same location. This was our first visit to the 9th Monarch. They have redecorated the whole place and although we recognized it everything was very fresh and new looking. Our appetizer was delicious. We both ordered different main courses. Although they were well presented both were a little bland. We will return but will order something more savory, perhaps a curry.

Two of us ate lunch here on a Monday afternoon. We love the restaurant’s Fairhaven location and we wanted to try our their newer Dartmouth location. The restaurant is on the small side, with a surprisingly beautiful, tasteful decor. The restaurant was busy and almost every table was occupied, as well as a few seats at the bar. The two of us ordered off the luncheon special menu. The food took FOREVER to arrive, and arrived at our table piece-meal. First came the soup (a tad bland but still okay). Next came the entrees, which were the best part of the meal. The Thai Rolls never arrived until we made it a point to ask the waitress about them. The waitress told us the Thai Rolls would be out in 2 minutes. Well, two minutes turned into 10 minutes. Our entrees were consumed before the Rolls arrived. With the late arrival of our complete lunch we noticed that there was only ONE waitress taking orders and serving ALL the tables. If staffed properly, I would have given a better review but the terrible insensitivity of someone’s time is reflected in the “3” I’m giving this restaurant.

Thai Taste Too

Reviewed By Beth L

My order was not ready half an hour later and the pad thai was less than mediocre. Greasy, token spoonful of chopped peanuts, vegetables were walked through the noodles....While I should have picked a strictly vegetable dish to get the veggies I wanted, I'll probably not rely on this restaurant for inexpensive food next time around. Sorry Thai Taste. I hate to be too negative.

10 guys looking for Chinese food to have during a card game. Asian House was not my choice, I hadn't been there before. We called in a large order (about $150.00), and it arrived pretty quickly. It was a lot of food, all apppetizers! I had some garlic chicken wings, beef lo mein, pork lo mein, teriyaki beef, and boneless spare ribs. There were also some other apps I didn't try.I thought the food was good, the garlic chicken wings were excellent. The lo mein was... well... lo mein. It was good, pretty average and on par with other local chinese places. I thought the teriyaki steak was very good, I'd rate it above average.Overall, all 10 of us were very happy with the food. Plus there was plenty for anyone who wanted to take some home at the end of the night.
