Things to do in Trang
Iâve been here with my friends. Itâs a local Chinese restaurant. The menus are not much but good quality with fresh ingredients. The price is acceptable, quite cheap when compared with Bangkok in the same style and quality. My most favorite menu is Or-Luak, fried oyster omelette on the hot plate.I also recommend you to try Krapong-nueng-si-ilw, the steamed fish with soy sauce. Please note, all photos were taken by my friend.
While the main menu is a type of sukiyaki or steamboat, they sell ala carte items, too. The green noodles are very tasty, especially with roasted duck. However, the helpings are quite small, possibly because these are intended to complement the main menu items. The kids loved the noodles and ordered another round!
As thai-chinese-vegetarian eatery, Kit Pung is in full swing in mornings. In late afternoon and evenings, it has already closed. Nice place to grab a breakfast if you are a vegetarian and in Trang. Lots of grannies and granpas eating there. Lots of options to choose from. ALso noodles, pastries and fruit juices. This is a readymade buffet where you point the foods you want and get them immediately. Restaurant is easily recognisable by the yellow-red vegetarian signs. About 10 mins walk from the Trang railway station: first, walk Rama IV to the bell tower. Turn left, and the next road is Phattalung St. which you'll turn right. The restaurant is about 100 m from the crossroads.

Had dinner there last night and was not disappointed. Right on main street about 2 blocks from train station. Not super fancy, but just good food at a fair price. Had roast duck last night....delicious. Will go back again. Seems to be open later than most so if its after 8pm and you're hungry...here's your place.

I live here and this restaurant is definitely the locals' favorite, because of its location (in the town, not too far from the city stadium), reasonable price, delicious food and fast service(but not very polite, though). It is air-conditioned with cozy atmosphere. They have various a la cart menu for Thai food and cakes. Pad thai, stir-fried sea bass with basil and coconut cake are my favorite.Perfect for a quick lunch or an easy dine-out dinner with family and friends.(It may be a bit crowded at lunch time, so if you plan to go there with the large group of people, reservation is recommended). And as far as I know, there's no English menu yet.

They have made an effort here to make you feel like you are in a quiet serene place. Sitting between tall trees, water fools and fish pools you could be in the jungle. The food is good and the manager speaks English as is happy to help. A little out of town but worth the ride for lunch or dinner.

A great place which has an array of deserts and main courses. Never been disappointed but it is not a regular place of mine owing to to high prices in comparison to the other local places.

Recommended by the hotel boss, we went to this outlet. We were the only customers that evening. The deco, sitting and dinner set were tip top. We ordered crab roll, shrimp roll, mango salad, wilh vege (liang), phad thai, yellow curry. The crab roll, shrimp roll, and yellow curry were good, while the mango salad and wild vege were average. It was a bit expensive, but all in all, we were satisfied with the food and the service.

Extensive menu. Good burger and beer. Coffee and other drinks were not bad. Free Wi-Fi. Reasonable price. Quiet and nice ambiance. A perfect place to spend an afternoon browsing the internet or catching up with friends.

After trying the delicious Trang roast pork in the market we decided to try this restaurant today. We started with the fritters served with a pandas paste-delicious. We then had a nice mixture of porky dim sum treets and some spring rolls and roast pork. The pork was nice but not a s rich and tasty as that sold in Trang market. Dim sum was tasty. I followed it with a bowel of fish rice soup which was a bit bland. Excellent service. Bill was 375 baht including drinks for two people.
