My wife and I have just finished dinner here and it was beyond superb. Small place but packed on a Monday night which is testament to its authenticity and quality.Chicken satay for entree and beef massaman for dinner washed down with a glass of red and a couple of beers.Great taste and big serves at a reasonable price.Owner and staff were very friendly. If youâre in Mt Maunganui and enjoy Thai food, definitely give this place a go.

The staff are very nice here. Food is amazing as well. The restaurant does get a bit busy so would recommend booking in advance. Great spot for larger group.

Very popular small Thai restaurant. Very tasty meals which were good sized portions and reasonably priced. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Price of glasses of wine very reasonable.

For delicious authentic Thai dining, a warm welcoming atmosphere and a relaxing walk along the beautiful seaside after your meal - visit Thai Thani 2 in Wharf Street, close to the Strand on the Waterfront in Tauranga where everyone gathers for lunch or a
Friday lunch and this was quite well populated. Must be a local favourite. We ordered a green curry (my test of how good a Thai restaurant is) and a larb. The servings were very big but delicious with good taste and enough heat (not thai heat). We couldn't eat it all but we took the leftovers and had them for dinner the next day.
