A chance opportunity to eat in Weggis and it seems we chose well. Traditional setting within the hotel right alongside Lake Lucerne. Made very welcome and seated in nice table inside as the weather was not too good. Nice conservatory like setting. Service excellent. Food something to get excited about. I had Red Thai curry - asked for it be extra spicy and it was but great taste. Best Thai Curry ever - well maybe. Wife had fish goujons (ok can't remember the fancy title) but they were excellent with fresh vegetables. Desserts were good too. Of course you are in Switzerland - pricey but worth the treat.

Die Küche kann man nur Loben. Die Gerichte waren höchst delikatess. Zudem war der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr viel potenzial. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Spices brings authentic flavors from Japan, China, India and Thailand to the heart of Switzerland. As well as the magnificent view, the open show kitchen provides an additional highlight. Whether you want sushi, dim sum or a curry: the recipes for our aut
Amazing view and nice location. Beside of that, something is wrong with the servive. People seems to be not well educated about the service, there is a big lacking of engagement and customer care, even they are friendly. Nobody looked happy of working there. Angry-eye-looks from employe to employe. It looked like there is no teamspirit or good management behind, which the customer strongly feels. Service was not on that level what you pay for. And: they kill the ambient with terrible white LED light on the balcony, which makes you feel you are in a football-stadium instead of a cosy dinner-place. Free advice: turn off the bright light and put some candles on the tables. Cheers!Dear Beasty_Treeman,first of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time and sharing with us your constructive feedback. I appologize for your experience on Spices Terrace. Service was fantastic and sincere, the food was good but engineered for the bland culture of The Swiss, who seem intent on limiting spice in their lives...all the ingredients5 were fresh and the good side of tasty...the chef appeared frequently and was quite indulgent in our attempt to ask to limit the extra sugars the Thais seem too adept to add to their recipes ... I have never figured out why they move in that direction? All in all a great discovery and we will return to this hidden gem.P.s it might be wise to add a french and or english menu version!
