Quality of Fried Rice was ok, however there is not much that could be made bad at such a simple dish. Luckily the very intense dried onions per put in one corner, so you can leave them out without spoiling the whole plate. Same for the peanuts.service was slow, unable to speak German, barely spoke English, the order-taking was with mistakes (we missed some of the Sushis, even though the order was really simple).From us three guests, one got served 5 minutes before the others (basic rule at lesson number one: serve all guests together).The payment process was also quite an uncontrolled situation, we wanted to pay individual and this was possible, however I am not sure if we all paid the correct amount (I guess less than necessary).the table was still dirty from our previous visitors and the cutlery in the general box on the table was quite dirty, too.Sauce for Sushi was not on the table and nobody cared.all in all, an expensive experience with mediocre service. Thai Food as authentic as it can get in Zurich. It is more a take-away but with some seats inside and outside. Price is fair and they serve large portions.Be careful with the meal which has a little dragon in front (very spicy).Staff is mostly thai and super friendly. Give a tip and you will find out... :)

We just loved the experience, the portions are generous and the service super efficient. The food was really good, when missing Asia this is one place to go :) definitely go and try the dumplings yum yum and the eggplant AMAZING

Really nice place ! We had a good time there. The sweet and sour curry and the chicken noodle soop were great and the prices are convenient. We advise this place don't hesitate to go and sit the Menu carte offers you plenty of typical dishes.

We came for dinner to this wonderful Viatnamese/Asian restaurant. All service personnel was extremely friendly, attentive and very helpful. Food came quickly (we did not go for the large buffet) and tasted excellent. On top the Thach looks so much better from the inside than the outside. Is this a helpful review? Very nice and small local place to have some great Thai food. Staff was very friendly and traditional dressed. Service was very friendly. Food came quick, they used fresh ingredients and the taste was really good. Would definitely go back there.

The restaurant is located in the suburb city of Zurich called Regensdorf-Watt. Approximately a 15 minute S-bahn (S6) ride from Zurich HB, then just a 3 minute walk from the Regensdorf-Watt S-bahn station. I visited Thai Playa on a rainy day, so the large outdoor seating area was not being used. The interior was very nice (white tablecloths) and the bathroom was very clean, though the soap dispenser was broken or empty.The all you can eat buffet is priced at CHF 19.50 and consisted of 1 chicken dish, 1 prawn dish, a veggie/stir fry dish, 1 soup, 1 deep fried item and 2 rice dishes (steamed & fried). I thought the taste of the food was average or mediocre. A stange (bier) was only CHF 4.20. Though it was the lunch rush (not terribly busy), I observed that the food buffet items were on the slower side to be refilled as many customers had to wait for the staff to replenish the dishes as the serving trays on the buffet line seemed small. I thought many of the customers would have eaten more (as I saw them often, turn around in their seats to see if the buffet had been replenished) but due to the slow replenishment of items and the customers limited work time lunch break, in my opinion a few people left there hungry. Customers were given a final fruit sample after the meal though I was not offered one. Would I return again? I do not think the venture to the suburbs for this buffet is worth another trip. (My comments are for the buffet only and do not represent the regular entrees of the standard menu).

Excellent chefs from different Asian regions make for great, authentic tasting food. Very good are in particular the Indian and Thai dishes. Atmosphere a bit low because of the restaurant being situated in a community centre.
