Very good Thai restaurant in a strip mall on Cleveland St. Had Seafood Noodles and Green Curry with Chicken. Both were very spicy but delicious. Their medium spicy is very spicy. Also, was surprised that the noodle soup was very spicy as the same soup in Thailand is not spicy at all. Tends to be a bit higher priced than some other Thai restaurants but the food is more authentic.

I am a Thai restaurant foodie. I lived in Thailand for 14 years and teach Thai cooking recreationally. I make an effort to go to all of the Thai restaurants on the Eastside, including all three Rocha Thai locations (Southcenter, Woodinville, and Redmond). Of the three locations, the one in Redmond has consistently disappointed me now three times over the past two years.First, the stuff they get right. The decoration and ambiance is spot on. Friendly, clean and comfortable. The menu contains a decent variety of choices not found at all other Thai restaurants (unlike so many other cookie-cutter Thai restaurants that would not effect your ordering choices if you used the menu from another Thai restaurant).Unfortunately, there are a few disappointments that seem to be consistent each time we decide to give it another try. First, the food for the most part has been Americanized. It is not the Thai food that I enjoyed in Thailand for so many years with many common Thai food short-cuts (i.e. overly sweet, using sweet basil when holy basil should be used, etc.). Worse yet, the service is pain-staking slow. Slow to give us water, slow to take our order, slow to get our food even when the restaurant is practically empty, and on more than one occasion the food is dropped off at our table without even looking at us as they are moving on to another table. Having said this, I DON'T blame the wait staff. They are SO understaffed that the wait staff can't keep up with the work load.I so want to like this restaurant but cannot ignore its flaws. Unfortunately.

Wanta Thai Cuisine is a contemporary Thai eatery that transports you to friendly Thai culture. We serve healthy and quality food for a reasonable price, along with generally good service at a convenient location.
This is a small Thai restaurant right next to the popular Regent Bakery. We have been there twice and all the dishes were delicious. The surprise package is the price. Really inexpensive. Great delicious food with good fast service. Highly recommend.

Note that my rating is relative to the price point of the restaurant. This is a small Thai cafe in Redmond â nothing fancy. However, the food packs a punch! The green papaya salad was deliciously seasoned. So was the pad se ew. Unfortunately, the salmon on the salmon curry was overcooked. However, mix in some incredible curry sauce and all is well again. One important aspect is that they are not afraid of spicy food. Level 4/5 is already close to my limits and I think I would not go to 5/5. Probably get a dish with 2/5 first to test the waters... Overall this was a great dinner experience with very good service. Definitely coming back.

This has always been the Thai restaurant we would drive out of our way to eat at but something has changed in the kitchen. It wasnât until after the meal that we compared notes and unfortunately agreed the depth of flavor just wasnât there. Even the plain rice was mushy. Super friendly people and I am hoping the change in preparation is just a temporary issue but it isnât worth it for us to drive out of our way to get there. Sigh.

While many Thai restaurants serve dishes domesticated to Western palates, Thai Ginger is known for authentic artfully crafted selections made with the freshest and finest ingredients. Thai food is considered one of the most balanced cuisines on the planet
We've been eating here for years and not just because it's really good food but if we want something off the menu or added to a dish they will accommodate you if at all possible. What this says is everything is cooked to order and fresh, not dumped from some pre-prepared corporate vacuum sealed bag. Their service is also excellent but at times a little too much. Some servers come by your table more than necessary to check on you but I'll deal with that over servers who disappear on you. When really busy it can get loud which is normal.Prices are fair and competitive. It's also a great place for takeout. Highly recommended for anything.

We used to live around the corner from this restaurant and would order from there a couple of times a month. It was really good fresh tasting food no matter what you ordered. We live over 30 mins away now so we haven't been in over 3 years. We were in the area and dropped by. All three of us ordered and not one of us could finish our meals. I had a couple of bites of the pad thai was cooked to mush with a very strong orange fish taste. My husband who can eat anything ate half and said he felt ill. My daughter ordered a corn dog and it looked raw in the middle. on closer inspection it looked like raw jelly in the middle. So disgusting and upsetting as it used to be so good.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this unassuming little bistro. Meals prepared in an efficient manner and lots of lovely fresh vegetables in all four of our dishes ranging from tofu eggplant, crispy chicken, beef rice noodles and a Penang curry. Child's simple chicken skewers was a great meal. We had come to this restaurant a year ago when visiting family and back again this time and it still did not disappoint. Good value and delicious and friendly service.

Huge menu, kind of overwhelming, but food was well prepared and tasty. Large portions to share. Service was excellent.
