Reviews on Thai food in Redding, California, United States. There's a variety of water sports in Redding, from whitewater rafting on the Sacramento River to waterskiing, swimming, fishing and sailing on Shasta Lake, one of four magnificent manmade lakes in this northeastern California town. When you're ready to dry off, there are also plenty of land-based activities, like camping or hiking in the national forests and parks, following walking trails through the 220-acre arboretum or spending time exploring two fascinating parks: Shasta State Historic Park and Turtle Bay Exploration Park. At Shasta State, you'll find the ghost town of Shasta City from the Gold Rush days, complete with restored stagecoach, barn and courthouse, with eerie reminders of where prisoners were kept and sometimes hanged. The ever-expanding 300-acre Turtle Bay Park houses the recently opened Turtle Bay Museum, with extraordinary hands-on exhibits focusing on the environment and an outstanding collection of American Indian baskets. The kids will love the park's Paul Bunyan's Forest Camp, which includes a playground, logging and ecology exhibits and the popular summer butterfly house, where the fragile winged creatures flit about and alight on welcoming visitors.

Champa is a popular place located in an unassuming strip mall. I was seated promptly. Service was great, friendly throughout. I ordered chicken Pad Thai at spicy level 3 (of 5). It probably should have been hotter and the quality of chicken and noodles werenât as high as what Iâm used to. The flavor was still very good and the prices were reasonable. Iâd recommend it, but Iâd probably order something else.

I had dinner at Janya recently while in town for business. I often love to get Pad Thai from restaurants all over the country, and this was some of the best flavor Iâve had. They got the spice level just right; oftentimes Thai restaurants undercut the spice level out of fear that you wonât enjoy it. But mine was excellent. The service was good enough. Iâd certainly go back.

This restaurant has pretty good Thai food! Even though itâs not the most attractive place and very small, the drunken noodles were comparable to some of the best Thai restaurants Iâve been to! The service was quite slow, so be ready to wait. I believe that they need more employees or more cooks.

Thai food served in Redding for the last 20+ years. Family owned business welcoming tourists and locals daily.
My client and i stopped in for a business lunch. I ordered the pad thia and He had the lamb. We both ordered them medium heat. Both meals were very good and not spicy at all. Service was fast and friendly.

I discovered this little hole in the wall Vietnamese Restaurant just south of Redding on HWY 273 or Market St. for some.Place is small, but food is huge, $5 buck PHO for a bowl that's 12 inches round, and the most tasty soup ever. Choice of Beef, Chicken or combo. ADD IN THE GOODIES TABLE SIDE, SO FRESH AND MAN IS IT GREAT.RESTAURANT SERVES DINNER TOO!! Beer and wine. Visa/MCPad Thai is $5 bucks for dinner special, many varieties and choices. But better that the prices is the service and taste. Go see, you'll agree Im sure.
