Went to Ayothaya Thai Cuisine for lunch. The beef dish I tired seemed like it had been sitting in a warmer a tad too long. The consistence of the dish bordered on gummy. As a positive, the mangos and sticky rice desert was simply divine!

My wife and I recently returned from a vacation to Thailand which included a day trip to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam. In fact, the menus at the restaurant have the temples of Ayutthaya outlined on them. We both enjoyed our food so much that we decided that it was better than the food we ate in Thailand. If you are in the mood for good Thai food, than this is a must go. Plus, it's a whole lot cheaper than flying to Thailand!

We have been going to Bangkok Thai restaurant for years whenever we need a Thai fix. We have never left disappointed. On a recent visit, we enjoyed an appetizer of fresh Spring Rolls which were large and tasty, especially with the accompanying peanut sauce. Dinner portions were huge. We ordered both the Ginger Chicken and the Cashew Chicken and we had enough left over for another dinner. And considering the food was delicious, we'll be eating the leftovers very soon. Maybe like right after I finish this review!

The Tacoma/Puyallup area is blessed with a number of good Thai restaurants. Chili Thai is one of them and is worthy of your consideration. Decor is pleasant although our service was a bit slow (even though it was only 5:30pm on a Saturday night). There were a stack of Doordash orders lined up on the counter indicating that this is a good option for delivery as well. But it's the food that you come for. Portions were good. I ordered the Yum beef salad with three stars. It was the perfect blend of spiciness for me. Hot enough to arouse your taste buds but not tear inducing. My wife had the cashew chicken with no stars and yet it was still tasty enough for me. Best of all was the fresh Spring roll appetizers. Three big rolls cut in half and served with not one, but two delicious sauces, a creamy warm peanut sauce along with the traditional Thai vingerette. With food like this and most entrees priced under $10, we will definitely return.
Wow -- we were so impressed with the excellent food, terrific service and the overall experience. There were so many options on the menu it was hard to choose just one meal. Our waitress, Wee, was absolutely delightful and provided quick service. Food was delivered promptly and everything was delicious. At an average price of $7.50 per person with several of us taking leftovers home, you really can't beat this place.
